Di Luca's not even using tri bars, I think that's a serious mistake. Even if you get to use them for a short time, they offer real advantages.

    Poor descending for Levi.

For the record, Rogers' best performance in a GT TT was 8th in the 2006 Giro prologue. He's never got near to actually winning one.

Big deal - Menchov's not even using both lungs.

How much time does Mr Leipheimer have to make up on DDL to be in pink this evening?

How much time can either of them afford to lose to Mr Menchov?

    A questionn:

I understand why they aren't using TT bikes but why not a TT helmet for better aero-effects?

The TT helmet becomes a bit of a liability if you don't keep your bonce in the correct position I believe. They could possibly weigh more too, and they're badly vented so you would maybe get very uncomfortable on a long hilly TT like this.

Levi is not even breathing and he got 2nd at the check.

Um, so, did anyone pick Garzelli for PTP?

Are they allowed to take on food from their cars?

It's only an hour and a half. I think they can manage to go without eating.

Levi just ate a gel...did you see that.

Soler lost 6'35" to Garzelli

Wonder how many times he crashed?

Harmon's on great form today. On Soler, "Not someone I'd want to follow down a hill"...

Could be that it's a pretty hot day, and a long TT (90 - 100 min) so any aero benefit might be offset from overheating?

30 seconds up on Garzelli at third check point.

Levi 30 secs up on Garzelli. Some people are better at guaging their power output for the duration.

Menchov is all over the place, looking really difficult. His time shows as he is 34 secs up on Levi at the last check.
