You want to take it easy at your age. No point doing yourself in... [scrats about for opportunities to knock up some additional mileage...]0 -

Rich - you'll be fine. Once GTV has done his crazy 70.3 stuff, he'll not want to go on the bike for weeks.FCN 2-4.

I have been bought down by a peg.....a whole peg!!!!!
Tis true - in fact, I am not gonna make Exmouth Exodus due to work, so that 100miles less this month!0 -
Almost time for June stats! Please to break 400 miles this month - I'd like that to be the average but while it's easy enough over the summer it's a stretch during winter.
Hmm, me and Olive are neck and neck as I type :twisted:0 -

Ooooooh exciting! I haven't added my homeward miles yet but your little trip will take you past me... might have to do some mileage over the weekend...0 -
I've just been through my records of the last two months - and checked my commute milage again.
I'd assumed 30 miles before, but it's actually nearer 32. So, I'm erring on the low side by taking it as 31.5. which means I've just scraped up an extra 17/18 odd miles to add.
It all makes a difference!!
Or am I taking this far too seriously. :roll:0 -
Going to lose places Killed the chainset yesterday and now waiting on fleabay.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Yes yes I have in fact even with 2 duff weeks this months I actually matched last months 780 miles and after I ride to the in-laws this afternoon it might even hit 800 miles for May, the goal is 1000 miles in June & July.

"...disastrous...calamitous....we don't know where it all went wrong.."
Actually we do. The 5.45am alarm went off, was switched off and WMC went back to sleep.
Total commuter mile 0
Had accident at work, managed to roll a 375kg reel of plastic film off a pallet onto my foot which is now 40 shades of purple.
Total weekend miles 0

If I've updated Chris's list for today, should miles not show in my June column?0
-
Yeah, mine appear to have not....... appeared.
I think they've added to my YTD, but possibly gone onto May's total.0 -
Numbers are being added into the db; it just looks like the query is not handling dates that begin with a zero correctly when it comes to pulling the figures out again (same for the page showing today's updates). Not a big deal. I'll take a look tonight, in between Scouts & a hack about on the squash court. Maybe tomorrow actually. Keep adding them anyway.
At least you can commute this week. My whole week is taken up with pre & after school stuff so it'll be Friday before my stats show any improvement. Porgy may well overtake me before too long.0 -
ChrisInBicester wrote:Porgy may well overtake me before too long.
36 miles added today - should get another 112 in at least by the weekend - and planning 140 miles next weekend.
in fact I've just worked out a route via Stratford and North Woolwich which will give me a 40 mile a day commute. :twisted:0 -
Bother. Solved, but any mileages added today weren't saved to the db altho the YTD mileage was updated. You can either add your figure for today again and adjust the mileage manually, or just live with the fact that your June bucket is missing anything entered before 6:30 today.0

Thanks Chris! Took about 20 secs to get it right. Much appreciated.0

Using a reverse psychology type thingy i've switch my tyres to the thinnest least protected ultra light model conti make and just for good measure they're a few years old as well :shock:Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.

Oh the frustration - 0.76 miles to school and then back again is my limit for the next couple of days, unless  I offer to pop out to buy a bag of sugar, from Northampton. That'd do.0
