so meet around 4pm on wednesday then, seeing as the majority can get there around that time can always wait like some of us did on sunday for the late arrivers

Sounds good to me, i'll try and get there, squash finishes at 3.40 so i'll have to rush home swap clothes and bike up so i'll probably be about 10-15 mins late. If i'm not there by then i'm not coming as it'll mean i've totalled myself against the wall whilst playing! But I should be.

As for Sunday I can make anytime. :D

Ha ha, I can imagine the video looks better on TV! Some good pictures too barkey & giggs! Don't mind if I take a copy of them please?

I think it looks pretty decent, maybe a bit bright in places but we can't complain. I like my little log jump at the start....

Don't worry about being late, me and our kid are always 15mins late anyway...

Take a copy of my pics if you want no worries. I will have to maybe do a link to the Photobucket page some day.

Ah good, won't feel so bad then!

Just gave my bike a quick spruce and noticed for the first time the warnings on my forks, apparently I shouldn't do anything apart from gentle trail riding, in no circumstances should I do DH, jumps or freeride!! Ha ha, the crap things i'm sure they can handle a little bit. First thing to upgrade when I get round to it me thinks!

Also don't know if anyone could help me with a mechanical issue, my front disk is rubbing on the brake pads, its not so bad that the wheel won't spin, its just annoying! I'm thinking its down to it being new and they need to bed in??

DanielleT> yeah sure take a copy, with disc brakes it's pretty common nothing to worry about like you said it's just annoying, you can also try and realign the calliper / checking for bent/warped rotor and some times it will just goes of it own accord.

I'll see you all at 4pm then.

Thanks Barkey, i'll see how it goes what with them being relatively new, if it doesn't improve then i'll fiddle around with it.

Hope its not as windy tomorrow as it is today!! I don't mind rain, but I hate wind!

This is the route we could be doing on Saturday 8th. Should take around 3hrs riding time and then depending how many breaks we have, probably 4hrs in all.

The terrain is mostly gravel to loose stones and rocks. Couple of technical descents and a fast flowing one, a few hard but doable ascents depending on fitness.

Think im gonna give this a ride on Thursday during the day. Could do with some hill climbing fittness!

Nice one mate. Could you tell us how that downhill is, the one before Carr Ridge and takes you into Greenhow Plantation, at the bottom you turn right towards the Incline. Ain't done it before and would like to know what the terrain is like.

Turn the bike upside down. Loosen the two bolts hold the calliper to the carrier/or forks. Spin the wheel, gently move the calliper until you stop hearing the noise. Spin the wheel again and begin to tighten (carefully) the calliper bolts. If you do it slowly and carefully that should remedy the situation.

Please also make sure beforehand that the wheel is sat in the drop outs properly and the skewer is tight.
