Yes, we had a cracking ride Saturday morning, conditions were spot on, lets hope the dry spell lasts a bit longer ! :-)
  • Just to echo the comments earlier, really enjoyed it, thanks very much for being so welcoming and friendly.

I did make it back and the climb back was more mental than anything else. I did manage to sink 4 cans of 1664 that afternoon, and the arse-rub stud mark is a spectacular shade of purple!

Will definately be back, thanks once again to you all, when's the next ride??????? :D
Bald, front row forward, into Road cycling and just starting to get into MTB, enjoy endurance events.

    First time post

Live not too far from the Wyre forest in Quinton, looking to find people to ride with.

Do ride clent, Licky and some of the bridleways about Hagley on occasion.
But usually ride about Cannock, and around the Yorkshire moors with visits to trail centres dotted in for good measure.

Whilst presently unfit not a complete newby :-D

    Hi guys,

If I dont attend Llandegla on Sunday, I will be riding the Wyre around 10am - 10.30am, got a lot to sort out over weekend, so may just stay local in the Wyre.

Just back from it, the conditions are brilliant, dusty !

    :-)
  • Sassy,

    Have already recovered thanks!

Got 25 miles on the road bike planned tonight, but will be back at Wyre probably Sunday after next. It's going to be hard to stay later than about 1 as I did last time, but I'll keep my eyes posted on here for times, meets etc.

Im thinking of taking a maiden bimble around Clent this Saturday (2 April). If anyone who knows their way around is out and about, and doesnt mind me tagging along, it would be good to learn some of the trails there.

    Thanks,

    Dave.
  • I'll be over Sunday morning and can show you around if that's any good

Looking forward to proper tour of the forest - see you all Sunday.
  • Sorry I missed the rest of the ride, my tumble in the secret garden caused a small fracture in my left ankle, three weeks of rest alas on orders of the quacks. Hope you all had a good ride.
