Dark stuff is to mind numbingly boring for my liking, been sticking to canals and well paths by the side of roads myself.

Injurys suck back to riding like a total wuss for me.

Well Dil i suggest you come out with us and keep up, dark stuff boring erm !

Touching 50 mph downhill, cruising in a pack with 4" to spare at 30 mph and uphill faster than you ride at anytime
70 miles of glourious countryside in 4 hours - now lets think last time i rode with you, you led and we did 10.12 miles in 4 1/4 hours.

    2nd point
Injurys suck back to riding like a total wuss for me.

Next time your not riding like a wuss please let us know we'd all love to come and watch you ride. Ha Ha He He.

I was going to ride tomorrow night but i can't be doing with stop start plod, if you get stuck for somebody to ride with my 7 year old likes a steady ride now and then.

That would make sense if I was the 1 riding at the back which unless it's just me and Moggy I don't.

And when did this turn into a elititist group rather than a social go out and have a few laughs ??

Dylon I apologise if i offended you with my comments, i put the ha ha he he at the end so that you would understand i had laughter in mind, so once again i'm sorry.

Ref Tarmac, i was merely suggesting tag a long with Wyre Forest Cycle Racing Club they may open your eyes on how best to enjoy the sport.

    So no offence intended.

    Andy okay then apology accepted.

No chance on the roads, I hate the suckers, idiot drivers not seeing you and barely missing you and there just a pedal pedal pedal thing nothing else to it.

I donated the road bike after I used it the last time to Spokes for charity.

Andy only just saw your post re road ride challenge and it's on the other page so I can't be ar*ed to quite it...
Nah I'm not really into road riding but for me to do anything decent on the mtb it's an hour's drive in any direction and some nights I just can't face that. so the roadie comes out!
Training for SITS which is in 2 and a half weeks...gulp...

    On that subject...
Is anyone about Sat morning? I know a number of the regulars are off to bonny Scotland.
Needs to be a decent paced ride though, and that is not getting at anyone before you all jump on me  but as I say am trying to squeeze in as much training as I can in the next couple weeks for 24 hour madness so I need to keep the ol' legs going.
Once it's all over I won't be that bothered and will come out whenever and with whoever!

    So - can I tempt anyone? Go oooooonnnnnn..... :P :P :P

Sorry ribs playing up again, no can do on the decent pace, but you could ride up the hill, back down then race up to meet me at the top, think of the extra training :)

I've got canal on my door step no reason to ride roads and put my ass at risk from getting squished.

How to remove seized and stripped rotor bolts, arrgggh, fear new wheel time :( or :)

Have you ever managed a decent pace Dyl? only when trying to impress the girls!

Wyre was okay last night, only one guy turned up for the regular ride - slackers!

Its amazing that the singletrack trails are still lovely and dry the most part but the fire roads were a muddy mess!

Not gonna be out saturday Debs sorry!

I kept up on a fast mid week ride a few weeks ago despite knee issues, but I'm not a racer, I have no interest in racing around I prefer doing 6hour rides at a moderate pace than sprinting around for 2hours.

No 1 knew the regular ride was on was likely the issue with that.

Last time I'm pushing you up any hills :)

456 Frame should be here tomorrow if On One still deliver next day, upgrading the rigid so I can run proper 2.3 high volume tyres in the rear rather than 2.1 tops.

    Then no more spending :(

Yep i remember not good days, all sorted now!

A Regular ride means regular, just because one person cant make it doesnt mean its cancelled, we hooked up with another group too, there was another group i knew going from and then finishing the same time as us! doing fire roads only so good for people who want to do fitness but without being suicidal on the road!

Im up for a sunday evening ride 6ish! if anyone can make that, busy all weekend except for then so its my only option sadly!

We were in the Wyre Weds night, about 8 of us and had a very good ride!

I just get out and ride!

Off to Scotland tomorrow and I wont be around for the next 3 weekends.

Did you leave Duke at about 7:05, saw a group heading into Wyre at that time! Most trails we rode looked unridden since the rain! no marks or skids. Was much cooler than tuesday made it a lot easier!

There is a 7pm group, old fast bloke name beginning with M they've been riding for years but ride from the Button Oak side mainly these days.

I took a wing mirror on my right arm the last ride of the road bike thats why I dumped it.

Looks like Frame and Rear mech for the FS hasn't been delivered yet, so unless they deliver on a Saturday I'm bike less till Monday :(
