Thought as much, I'll do something flat with your mrs then and safe.

SLX I guess nice and cheap on CRC at the moment ?? or Deore ??

Would been interesting watching your legs flapping around trying to find the pedals at speed.

Still part ill and coughing my guts up, so a short ride less hills and beef cobs in the pub for me tonight.

Hiya Sassy (and mounty tho don't think i've met u yet)

Any chance of 2 (possibly 3) more coming along on sunday? Me & phil haven't been to the wyre for ages as been hibernating a bit over winter! May also bring a lady i know from telford if she can make it as she's looking for people to ride with.

    cheers, emily

Go Wyre its soo good at the moment, except the stream running down the last bit of the Camber run!

Me and Debs did just under 20K last night, most ive done in ages, took her down the ankle cracker (too the right over the bridge), she got a big branch in her wheel.

Yeah true, compared to a few weeks ago when it was totally unrideable, enjoy the dry before the wet summer.

For 'big branch' read 'whole tree'!!!
And also nearly got my rear wheel in the back of the head over a bit of a large log....

    Great fun :D

Sorry I missed a stack of posts above, Emily I think I know you from a She cycles ride possibly Peaks / Manchester way ??

Cheese or Beef Baps ?? :) * see thats covered in the last post, it's the sun!!

Jelly Babies sounds like a cracking plan to me.

I should be loads lighter with my sin tank emptied, I'll have it refilled by Monday don't worry.

Turvey - not gone on any She cycles rides, been on a couple of Muddy's rides & one sunday wyre ride last yr.

The baps are turkey, bacon & emmenthal cheese with cranberry sauce, a very nice recipe i stole from a sarnie shop in Shrewsbury! Not just mere cheese or beef

    See you sunday

Oooooooo Mrs Moo that sounds soooooo good ! ;-)

The wyre is fantastic at the moment, its never this dry even during the summer!! Make the most of it, I'm gutted I'm not out sunday with you guys...

    Have a good one!!

Likely just thinking of Majik Moo I used to ride with then.

The baps sound a bit poncy to me, I don't eat anything I can't pronounce ( not that you'd tell looking at me ), so if you just bring a selection of cakes instead that'd be perfect.

See you the and don't worry if your a tad late I'll wait for you :)

    Crashing hard since 94...

Forecast saying showers over night and more rain maybe tomorrow, but it might soften the ground a tad which would help my new toy hugely :)

    Typical hey.

Anyone have any rides planned for this Thursday or Friday?

Last few rides have been solo and I am tired of talking to myself and the squirrels! ;-)
