Did you do HONC MP ??? Time wise it was 80% road again I'd say, so nice enough descents though, so BORED!!!

Moggy where were you off to ?? didn't recognise you at first.

I was off to south wales for a day of punctures on the Cwmcarn uplift!

As we were driving past i looked and thought nice rover then looked and saw S 4 5 9 - ooh that Dylan and Dave!

Hope you had a good day, i wouldnt of really fancied sweating my way round 100km in the 20+C temps of yesterday!

Turvey - should have done the 100km. It was a fantastic route, lovely countryside and some great descents. About 50/50 on/off road. Last 25km seemed to get harder and harder but got round safely. Really enjoyed it too.

cgarossi - welcome to the Wyre Wheelers  You're more than welcome to join us. Just post when you would like to come on a ride with us. We will wait for you (unless you are more than 10mins late  I'm riding most weekends at events now but others in the group will ride the Wyre whilst I'm not around - you just need to look out on here and post when you are turning up. I can do weekdays if you need showing around the Wyre and Wednesday evenings too.

Moggy I said to Dave, thats where you where likely off to at that horrible time.

MP, you did the 100Km ?? or just Graham, what spurred that and what time for both of you ?? I'd of been tempted but still got a cold and 34miles ( 55km's ) totally wiped me out.

    Nutter for doing the 100km!!

Turvey - you made the 9am start

Yes I did the 100km. Planned on doing the first half of the 100km and was going to loop back into the 50km but I was enjoying the ride so much I decided to crack on and see if I could make the distance. Ok, I didn't get back to the finish until 5pm  - riding for 7 hrs 30 mins and out for 8hrs. Graham was snoozing in the landrover waiting for me - he got back at 2:30 , his time was 5hrs 27mins I think.

Cgarossi - we meet at the Duke William Car park which is on the A456 opposite the Wyre Visitors centre. You are suppose to have a drink afterwards in the pub as a thank you for parking free or you can park in the Visitors centre and pay about £2 until dusk. Should take you about 50 mins to an hour from Hereford.

Thats a alot of miles MP, average riding speed of 13.33Kmh, where as I averaged 12.2Kmh over the shorter route, so more miles and faster ( Okay I was ILL big time ), but still impressive.

And yes I was there for 8am area, only cause mates dragged me there!!

Of course im doing sumfing Dh related sunday, gonna be at Hopton, MuddyPuddle will be there too obviously as she's the chief.

As soon as i got on sarahs bike i relaised there was summat wrong got off and pulled the crank and it came off in my hand! The isis on both the BB and Crank arm were both mangled as she had just caned it down a DH bit with loose cranks. Her middle chainring teeth are almost smooth too so new cranks for her! HT2 at last!

Doing Wyre tonight Mick, me and Deb will be at Pub for 7:30 i have been lazy DH'ing so not too fit! We'll see you if we see you! You have my Mobile No. i believe. If not its in a PM.
