Trail centre really, thought you'd just stick to local stuff but yeah maybe.

Lee Quarry is a long haul 120miles with the M6 being in the state it's in just for 1 day.

Helping with a house move Friday so can't sorry :(

Andy - I wont be able to make it this Thursday, as it looks like I wont be finished until around 5pm or later, but then I have to be in Church Stretton for 7pm wearing my best spiderman pants! ;-)

Sarah - I wont be able to make Clent this week, working. But if/when you have any plans for that week above, let me know. I know some of Mortimer forest etc, but would be up for a Welsh centre... ;-)

    Anyone around Wednesday day ?

The girlies will be out on Wednesday 24th March for a night ride. Being girlies though we need time to adjust our lycra and put some slap on, so is there any chance we can make it a 7:30pm start on this occasion

Finally got my login to work - apparently I am illegal...
I am Muddy's mate and want to come out for night rides but as I work in B'ham centre and don't get home until 6pm earliest I need a later start!
I don't plan on coming every week as it's a rush for me and I don't want to put people out if they want to get going earlier.
Am up for the 24th though :)
Assume the meet point is the vc by Bewdley?

I have been out of it for a while due to bike problems and commitments with the Digging over ribbesford, as both Sarah P and Graham can confirm.

    However

Night ride this week from the Duke, thursday 7:30pm, expected duration 2 hours.

Did clent last night, Tuesday and it was dry and fast, we even had the wind behind us going up the hill.

I'll be doing Thursday weekly now if anyone wants to Join me! Got 2 spare sets of light, 1 if Debbie comes for anyone that wants to try it out first.

If so I would be free 1.30pm onwards. I have sent you my mobile number.

I will have to see if my old lights are working for the Wed 24th ride. :-)

Sassy - you'll be fine - take a rope. Mick can tow you up the hills whilst you practice spinning and he practices peddle mashing

Missgroover - yep, the meeting point is VC as you know it. You can park in the Duke William car park or in the layby off the main road about 400m before the pub.

Mounty - you trying to kill us all - 150 miles in 3/4 days?

All - riding Hopton Woods and Bucknell on 2nd April at 10:30 is anyone wants to join in. Thinking of an all day Rhayader ride on Easter Sunday - anyone up for this?

    word to your mothers,
sorry to butt in, just wondering if anyone can give me directions to the bits worth finding in the wyre. a friend and i spent saturday and tuesday pootling around in there without having a great deal of luck. ventured over to the kinlet north mtb place on tues, but only found a couple of tracks (and enough mud to have me sink to the knees). on the way up from the bridge over the creek to the road before kinlet it looked like there were a lot of tracks coming out of the woods on the right hand side, am i right in thinking this is the place to go hunting?
    cheers for any help,

Ahhhh you actually meet at the VC and don't wait around the pub car park, that explains how I missed you on the last ride.

Mick, Sassy isn't that bad, well about my speed so you've got something to judge it on.

TBH you need to be guided, you spend most of the ride trying to follow directions and instructions. Most of the good tracks are in the Far bit of the Main forest, once you have crossed over one of the bridges! Most of them start in strange places TBH, you need to know where your going, its even harder to string them all together for a ride, me mounty and the others almost have a set few routes, but know it well enough to improvise.

Mounty it appears Sarah forgot to show you the Best Trail over Clent the other Day, she knows where it is now for next time!

    Moggy -

Sounds good, I was hoping to do Clent this week, but work has got in the way :-) I shall be riding a quick one around the Wyre Friday afternoon....anyone ?

    Turveyd38 -

You mean to say after all the years I have known you....you have been turning up at the VC?!....well now the cat is out of the bag.....you cant use that excuse anymore! lol ;-)

If I EVER get that slow, the bikes will be up for sale before you can even blink!

Me and some of the other Clent Duffers (TM) are doing the wyre tonight, 7PM from the Duke.
