3 of us are meeting at Earnswood Copse on the Buttonoak side of Wyre on Saturday at 11am to ride around the Kinlet side of the forest. All welcome to meet us there or join us from the other side of the forest if you'd like a guide around the Kinlet area. We will be leaving at 11am sharpish - so Turvey set your alarm for 7am

Mounty - MTFU will ya

I will be around this weekend, all day Saturday & just Sunday morning...

MTFU.....just the infamous response I was looking for ;-)
  • Should anyone be interested, we're over Clent on Tuesday 9th. 7PM from doggers paradise carpark.
    Crashing hard since 94...
  • MP, Saturdays aren't great for me and might be of to CyB that day so we'll see, how long for ?? Dave wants a long ride on Clee if your free to guide us 1 day!!

Anyone doing, Hell of the Cotswolds ( Yes I know it's mainly road riding, got badgered into it, mp3 player to stop the boredom required ) ??

Moggy Clent / Wyre Thursday ??

Turvey - will do another ride on Clee Hill soon - will get back to you re dates. I'm doing 50km at HONC - not looking forward to the road riding though :?
  • I thought you'd be doing that, Dave kept asking if you was for some reason, I heard it felt like 80% road riding last year, and yet Dave still signed me up for it :(

also just the 50km here, I've only done 1 Enduro think I was last but 7 but very possible there bikes had died so aiming to beat LAST :)

Conti Race King 2.2 on the rear to lower the rolling resistance is my tip, if it's dry then back and front, most will be riding it on CX's if it's muddy sounds great NOT!!

Turvey and all - Clee Hill ride is on 21 February at 11am. We will be leaving at 11am so be there by 10:45 or be left behind
  • Doubt Dave can make that day / time sadly, but I should be up for it, need to get some hill climbing miles in before that road ride thingy!!

    HI Andywyre....

You are more than welcome to join us for a bimble in the forest.....we often arrange/meet up on Sunday mornings, starting from the Duke William pub car park around 10am.

I also sometimes ride on a saturday morning with one or two of the guys from here......but most rides vary from week to week, but keep an eye on here...

Rides are usually 2 or 3 hours, (sometimes a bit more) but with plenty of stops and banter along the way...there are quite a few of us on here that know the forest very well.

There is a ride this Sunday, but its on the Clee Hill, arranged by Muddypuddle, details on this forum....

    Catch you soon...

PS. I'm an old fart too, but i cant speak for some of the others
  • Not fit enough to do clee hill

Would ride the wyre Saturday though
