Sassy - I'm meeting some guys at the Duke at 9:45, riding down to a meeting point with Swindon MTB for a 10am start. Riding until 12noon but the guys will be out longer.

  • Hi Guys,

I know this isn't really the correct forum but I wanted to target you guys as I know your local.

I looking for a recommendation on someone/somewhere to service my bike around the Wyre Forest area.

I haven't got time/experience to do it myself properly and its doing my head in riding with binding brakes and a wheel with play in it.

    Thanks

    Matt

Well I went over there for the first time on the bike today, looks like I severely underestimated this spot ! The group of us went on a little exploration, got lost and after bumping into some friendly local riders, rode one of the most awesome short descents I could think of, seriously even the more time served in the group were unnerved !

Superb stuff though, I shall definitely be back and probably regularly once I get back on the road, could anyone please link me up to the facebook page and I'll keep in the loop ?

Kinmofo, Peaks are much much closer to you loads of hills and jumps there, 30miles rather than 110 area, look up Lee Quarry to kick ass stuff there there is loads of good stuff just north of Manchester to, Rydale is it.

    Hi Matt,

These guys might be a bit too far out for you, but I wouldn't use anyone else, they really know their stuff and they are a good bunch of guys, cant recommend them enough.

  • Many thanks Mounty, Will give them a call today and see if I can get my bike booked in.

Will be nice to ride up from the bottom of the forrest without the friction of binding brakes.
