Thanks again Velo.
EdHarris looks like you've short changed yourself, i thought this was the metric 100 challenge, not the imperial!
Ah yes, it does look like that, but the reality is that I didn't complete 100km every single day (most days we did, and on one day we rode at least 200km): I wish I could put more points on but methinks the rules allow only for each 100km day, unless I'm wrong or have misunderstood multiday ride allowances?
Incorrect assumption made by me, my apologies. All the same it sounds like you had a great time.0 -

I had a fabulous time, the weather was extremely kind to us (whilst the midges weren't) and everybody we met joked about an Irish sun tan being nigh-on impossible! I can only thoroughly recommemd cycling in Ireland and will definiately be going again. Absolutely no need for apologies, my friend.0

I've blown it for May courtesy of getting a crack in the downtube of the bike & not sorting out a new one in time (& Trek not coming up with a frame replacement as well).
Thanks to Velo for doing this & good luck to all still in.Life is not a rehearsal0 -
For Brevet rides or anything else lasting longer than one continuous day, the date the ride completed is the date posted. (Your post would look something like this,
14 May 4 Points 403.29 km Total Points 14 Total km's 1,429.76)20 Jun- 1 Jul (Tour of UK and Ireland) c. 931m/ 1500km (9 Points)
NO days without cycling? I'd make it 15 points? Have we both missed something here?

Absolutely gutted for you, am having clicky headset problem that can't be solved at moment, have even considered a century on the MTB!0 -

On most days we did around 80 miles, but on one day we did 125 and on three IIRC we did under 63 miles: in my mind these three days shouldn't count, hence the 9 points. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to add an extra 6 points but I feel it would be cheating!0 -
Well, after a July marred by injury and illness, I'm going to have to withdraw. Tried to get out for a metric today, but was only able to do around 40 miles before my wrist gave up.
Good luck to everyone left in.0 -

Hope you enjoyed the Phil & Friends ride, that brings back a few memories, I've done it a few times, and Holme Moss was on my old local patch.0 -

I suppose it gets a bit tougher from now,Got a plan for the next 3 months rides?
Me I’ll be doing a hilly ride ‘Nottingham-Matlock-Nottingham’ next weekend, ‘Nottingham-Dovedale Dash-Nottingham’ 1st November, and a nice ride around the ‘Charnwood in the spring’ Audax route on December 12th.
Good luck to all still in.

Cheers Velo - some great totals on there. Doing the Cat and Fiddle Ride on Sunday but will have to add a few miles to get to the 100km. Being a big girl's blouse the November and December rides will be dictated by weather!
God luck to everyone still in.0 -

Oh deary me, those distant memories of Jan/Feb rides have just hit me like a brick wall..... Worst recollection is setting out on a 2hour ride where my biddons froze in the first 15mins...... must refresh the anti freeze stock pile
Cheers Velo, best of luck everyone.0 -
Thanks again Velo. Going to try and get the Oct ride out of the way this weekend b4 the weather turns. Was lucky to get Sept inGo neiri on bothar leat.0

Good luck and congrats to those still in. Come on you 9 late posters!!!
Cheers Velo, at this late stage in proceedings I probably owe you something for keeping it all straight and helping me focus on a goal this year. Thank you.
Plans, damned plans and statistics. Dunsfold Sportive for October, Fingers crossed for November and a eyes closed just keep riding one random day for December should get me there, hopefully.0 -

Yes December could be a wait for the right day and go, although I like to go out the Saturday before Christmas, when the rest of the country is out shopping. A break from that pre-Christmas frenzy.BeestonCC Sportive
