will people 'definitely' be there tonight?

I have a rare free friday evening where I'm not seeing the missus so I may pop along for a beverage or two.

Need clearance from the missus who wasn't impressed when I turned up at midnight on the last outing after a fair few pints.

EDIT: Clearance received so can be there around 6-6.30.

Don't worry. Boffin and I also only want a couple of beers. If we pool our willpower maybe one of us will escape early ;)

I can't do tonight. You all blew your chance at being blessed with my presence last week when no one was there.... I have to go home, walk the dog and then head to someone's housewarming party thing (with dog in tow)...

I have no idea who I'm looking out for so if you see a bemused chap in a grey hoodie/jeans with a brown woolly peaked hat and a beard can you either

    a) hide and pretend you didn't see me

    or

    b) try to grab my attention

Look for people in bike stuff. Last/first time I went they were easily spotted. I'll be in blue LS top and black shorts, wearing a pink carnation.

I'll either be in black Polaris 3/4 tights or grey adidas tracksuit bottoms and either a red soft shell or old skool blue Arsenal goalie top.

HH, I was there (very briefly) last time.

I know! I locked by bike up, went inside for a look around, problem is if there is no clear group of people in cycling stuff you just assume no one is there...

Was good to meet a few more forumites on friday even if they did blow away my best made intentions of not drinking by the second round.

of course once you start it's rude to stop so I think we made it to 5 or 6 in the end.

good laugh but I'm not so happy that my scales continue to mock me by not going down.

next time it's gin and slimline tonic all the way.
