Meh, I'm in Turkey at the moment finalising wedding prep and wrestling with Turkish bureaucrats so won't be able to make Friday. Suspect that the local government officials here were trained in Soviet Russia. They do love their paperwork.

Good lad - start them pulling the pints early, get some tables, put the food order in, reserve the bike spaces. I've said it before Sketchley and I'll say it again - you're a star. Mines a Doom Bar.

S'alright, I have it on good authority that we've not all been sold up the river, that Simon Withers is a real person (know someone that worked with him) and fairly unlikely to spike our drinks before selling all our bikes and harvesting our organs. Her words, not mine. I'm now concerned which employees of Future have a track record of harvesting organs but the promise of beer on a sunny Friday is enough that I'm willing to take the risk.

That was fun even with the mental garmin edge direction, thanks fireblade96 another enjoyable ride oh and nice bike 8)

FREE beer is there anything better...? I think not - oh and kids if you decide to cycle to London dont forget your lights for the return journey, best bit was when my garmin lap counter turned on the backlight totally blocking any poor night vision I had cause me to go CX

Blah! still good fun and I totally didn't collect my Tweed run pack, hmmm I see another visit on the cards

Much fun was has as we rode around like a bunch of nine year olds having our picture taken.
I heard that DDD may be Photoshopped in as he was conspicuous by his absence. He had better have a really good reason to not be there or her may lose his on of his 'D's again.
Or maybe DDD was there and I was just blinded by his awesome?

    No, he just wasn't there.

As usual, it was good to catch up with you all. Considering that it has only just turned to April and we could comfortably drink outside for a while after sundown, the Morpeth could have a fair bit of SCD* action this summer.

It turns out I was only renting the beer and on a return trip from the used beer return station I was called "One of those weird cyclists". Just because I ride a 20+ year old fixie frame with no back brake and have an alarmed padlock, do I stand out as weird? Maybe.

Cheers for the beers. I'm looking forward to seeing the pics and reading the article.
