    At the risk this event is going to become oversubscribed I'll lay claim to a place now.

    Does the Morpeth have a function room?

    Yeah upstairs

    John, I think you should book this, organise a buffet and stick a float behind the bar? :D

    Maybe bring some test bikes too - I'll bagsie the S-works Venge

    You could start a new feature - "Silly commuter testing" - once a month different bikes we'll race* them up and down the embankement then tell you what we think over a pint.

    * remember it's not a race

    I can see the expenses claim for this exercise is going to be considerable...

    :roll:

    It's only 95 miles from my house too, practically on my doorstep :wink:

    Strangely enough I should be in London this Friday collecting my tweed run pack, a ruck sack full of Monmouth coffee and a slap up curry lunch from borough market.

    What timing eh!?

    Sounds like an early start on Friday. Should I ride or (more safely) use PT? There again, rush hour PT, urgh!

    If said journo is early enough perhaps they might like to witness a mock* embankment peloton** ...? surely that would make a nice shot for the mag?

    *note very real balls out 200m-ish sprint from HoP :?
    **see what I did there? :wink:
