Yep that's the one @seanoconn , for £44 - maybe go Large and XL, then if you subscribe and get the 10% discount, the pair will come in at just under £80, which will get you your free postage, and then return the one that doesn't fit for free :-)

The one I bought from Tredz was £45 so a bit cheaper direct - Tredz are now back up to full price.

I bought these from Tredz, but they were as cheap or cheaper on the Santini UK site, AND they have over 8% cashback on TCB which was unexpected.

These have arrived - my previous experience with Santini can be totally wiped, their current kit, fit, cut and material wise, is just as good as the main players I would say.

Keeping both jerseys, and the mitts, lovely fit, sleeves are the right length, not too gappy anywhere, feels proper quality.

Mitts are a mission to get on, but once on they fit, unsurprisingly like a fingerless glove, loads of padding too, so should be good for off road excursions.

So in summary, if you are after some new kit, do give Santini a look.

I bought some of their mitts direct in summer. Supremely comfortable, but they fell apart when trying to remove them at the end of their first ride....

Maybe you were unlucky?

The Santini mitts 'appear' well made, just a mission to don as there is no velcro at all.

Did you get a refund?

I think i paid about £12 for them in summer sale. So i have a spare mitt now, or i will get around to sewing it back together and using some fabric on the seams...

I had a Giro pair that came unstitched after one ride, stitched them back up, and they have been fine since, just was unlucky I think.

In other delayed bike news, the Addict Gravel 30 that I ordered back in October I think it was, that was originally delayed until May, then June, has now been delayed until....

Ah well, not the bike shops fault - Scott are blaming groupset supply, and who am I to argue.
Not overly bothered - the funny bit is that I will have finished paying for it (C2W) by the time it appears, should it be December.
I'm hoping the Creston IC SL integrated bar comes through faster, as I want that for my Addict - apparently they will find out the latest on the time scale for that later this month..........

Looks like I have some options should there be a real problem getting it, but I'll just have to bide my time and see what happens.

And I've bought a few bits of green gear in anticipation as well

You might be able to buy another one on c2w before you get the first one at this rate.

I'm also investigating other options - if I can find the right place, I might be able to stack 2 vouchers together, ie the credit from this one, plus a new one, and get a higher spec bike into the bargain.

Santini Military green jerseys arrived, L & XL. Not as nice looking as the pics to be honest but the main issue is that I’m not as slim as I thought I was apparently 😔 Win some lose some.

Taken a punt on these as much to see what the fit and quality is like from Merlin - Force appear to be a Czech company, bought some of their shoes a while back for my bro which were dirt cheap (£30 or £40) and he really rated them and used them for LONG distance touring with no issues.

Also chanced my arm/torso on one of these in xs to see if it will fit my daughter - not seen what GSG kit is like before, so two new ones.

I sell a fair amount of it on, so the 'balance' isn't outrageous - well to me anyway

I used to use a spare bedroom, but since becoming a parent that luxury has gone.
Now it's a couple of under bed storage boxes for winter kit mainly, and if anyone knows those Ikea pigeon hole units (Kallax maybe?) that you can buy little drawer box things for, 7 of those are occupied with cycling kit (commuting kit, turbo kit, ss and ls jerseys, oh and also a narrow 4 drawer 'tall boy' chest of drawers I think they are called, that has base layers, gloves and mitts, caps, toe covers, skull cap things, buffs etc etc, you get the idea.
Oh and half a (not that wide) double wardrobe - glasses, helmets, shoes and best jerseys and jackets reside in there.
A few things have overflowed into the garage, but they are mostly stock items.

Having said that, I do have some time off at the end of March, so I'm probably due having a trawl through to see if there is anything that needs to be shifted onwards.

Chances are the jerseys and jacket above will be too large, even in xs, or the fit won't be right, so they will probably be going back - but sometimes I am just overly curious about a particular item and decide to satisfy that curiosity.
