Quite like those but all the large are out of stock..

Have they got XL , cos thats what I bought and they are a tight fit, so at this price it might be worth the gamble.

Thanks for the tip..I've just ordered a large pair in red. I really do need to stop spending money on this cycling lark. Gone a bit mad over the last few months tbh with socks, energy bars, new saddle, bars, Compact and 12/27 for my Scott CR1 Pro. also got some Scott, dhb, Assos and Adidas bib shorts, 2 Assos gilets (through a friend, £60 the pair, and winter gloves.

Think i need to stop for a while..

I think it's long over due that we start putting together some SCR maintenance courses, I can pretty much do everything apart from truing wheels, i'm sure between us all we could offer a great new to cycling intro to intimidate maintenance course.

    Anyone?

i can repair a puncture 9 times out of 10 if that helps, and have even been known to do a mean hmm, when perplexed by anything more complicated.

    Finally got my bike!
Trek were messing my LBS around with delivery dates for my 1.2, so the shop offered me a £60 upgrade to a 1.5. Works out to about £90 off. Really pleased with it, even if it is lime green.
Got myself a pair of MT41 Shimano shoes to go with it - it's a very odd feeling using SPDs, though it really is quite nice.

Ahh, my first roadie was a black 1.2, and I've still got it. Considering the cost it's actually a pretty good machine. i tend to use it in the bad weather nowadays, and apart from sticking a compact on it's as it was when I bought it.

Some advice is needed here before I sell an organ to fund a serious attack of CNC's

Is there any benefit to using CNC parts other than it's damn coolness and range of colours?

Do you mean KCNC? If so there's always the "ceramic bearing" and "weight" arguments. Both are somewhat tenuous.

Can't remember whether I said on here but I saw a girl on a Maxima in Richmond Park a few weekends ago, guessed it wasn't you as she was wearing a helmet (and had the bike already, more to the point...)
