    Funny enough I'm commuting in white trainers at the minute. I feel a right plonker and they're getting less white by the second!

    Some Conti long valve inner tubes, two sets of bar tape, and some second hand carbon Chorus ergos. Hoping to get a second hand carbon Chorus rear mech next week. And some new cables and a chain.

    Anyone know why Ultegra pedals have seemingly increased in price by 30 quid in two years?! :shock: I'm sure they weren't that price.

    I just had to pay £172 for an ultegra compact chainset that was over £40 quid cheaper just a few weeks ago - that'll learn me to mess about!!

    Also had to replace my Endura overshoes as the zip bust on one of them. I'm not good with zips, they never last for me, but the shoes were getting tatty anyway. Decided to order some Gore ones from Evans - delivery not as fast as W.

    LiT - has n't the time for gloves past?? It's lovely out there now.

    Argh. The RRP on those white shoes I was looking at has gone up by 25 quid overnight. Booooo

    I treat overshoes as consumable items with one season's wear typical. Commuting just trashes them
