A pair of 'cycling' boots, they were cheap from TK MAxx and look quite fetching despite the picture :P

Aye. Got the second at about 5 to 9 at the mini-rbt to the west of putney. I set about changing the tube outside Holdsworths just as they were opening. It would have been rude not to go in 8)

Got myself 2 of the £17.50 Charge Spoons from Wiggle, one for myself and the other for a mate who has just got a bike that muggins has to play mechanics on.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    960.

Its quite diffuse, actually. Noticably brighter than my HID and first impressions are that the peripheral beam is much, much brighter. This is promising - I find that I point the HID quite level when I'm on open roads, to get a sense of the general road layout, to the detriment of what I'm about to need to bunny hop.

Anyway, its bright. And I already like the fact that I know how much charge it has, unlike my Hope which just goes out.

Anyone got any experience of this saddle? It's the BG Phenom.
  • I got a new bag, DHB elsted 30L, more 705 mounts for the bikes, some 705 cadence kits and a Muc off cleaning kit just to use that Wiggle voucher.

Still got a massive shopping list which I'm afraid to show the missus

I've finally succumbed to fitting a rack and panniers to the boardman

    30463.jpg

and some cheapo panniers from crc.

Rock solid, bit weighty though, might have to drop the gearing a bit to get up the big hills. I saw a sora triple on crc for £25 hmmm.

Funnily enough I just bought the Toupe, which is fairly similar.

Yeah, I have a couple of them. They look very similar to a number of other "flat" saddles with cutouts, but whatever they have done differently really seems to work. As far as minimalist saddles go, the specialized range is very good indeed.

Btw Mikey - tried the MaxxD on an unlit road tonight. Very nice improvement on my HID. The only problem was the couple of planes which tried to land on me. :D

Bought a bag from LCE for my Garmin 705.

    http://www.hama.co.uk/portal/articleId* ... ction*2563

Went in there to collect my camera that I'd been quoted £70 to repair  and took the Garmin to see if there was a camera case suitable for the Garmin.

Another set of koolstop salmons. Thought the last set had worn out fast until I realised it's been not far off three months, through winter, and oh so many steep hills!
