to match my road frame that I bought last Spring, if it is half as good as the road bike I shall be very pleased!

Wow! Where do you get prices from? I like the look of the carbon cross bike with rack and 'guard mounts

Brake pads (with cartridge holders) - The winter seems to have been unreasonably harsh on brake pads.

And a cassette, bring on 9 speeds! :)

Oh my God. What HAS he done to that bike?

He appears to have an extremely practical bar bag with map holder. Very handy, dontcha know...

<splutters> but, but, its a Colnago... there should be some of EU regulation

Oh, I can beat that (I know the 'criminal', btw): I present the C50 Tourer!!!

Oh my God. What HAS he done to that bike?

In my country, crimes like this carry the death penalty.

Knowing where you're going is not a crime. Maps don't get confused like GPSs...;)

  • Bought some new shoes:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 3289wt_767

I just hope I get the MTB ones from the picture, rather than the road ones in the description. :)

    I think they're Viper Evo X1's.

And am sending them back. One was the correct size 43, the other was a 42 which crushed my big toe. Shame really, as the 43 was a great shoe, and a lovely fit.

Have now bought some Pearl Izumi Vortex road shoes instead. Apparently they work with regular SPD's too.

I've got a front wheel with fewer spokes than that, and it's just fine. Nothing wrong with paired-spoke designs........!!

Gratuitous carbon shot - it's a very light gray, looks almost white against the rest of the helmets blackness:

It's lurvely. Only my 2nd helmet, had my last one for years and years. This one makes me realise how badly fitting my last one was!

What model is it? From the cheaper end of the price range hopefully

Just treated my feet to some of these

    lake-mx85-med.jpg

Down from £76 to £45.59 still 9x the price of the last pair of Lake shoes I bought. Now the big question is Haribo or no Haribo? Lidl shoes are OK but I've always preferred velcro straps for the commute shoe as it saves asking a work colleague how to tie shoe laces
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

I am after one of these, but not sure when they are actually being released :?
