I saw that and was mighty tempted but fortunately it was the wrong size for me, so I don't have the dilemma you now have!!:lol:

Seeing as I just went to the airport using my commuting rucksack as hand luggage, and forgot to take the tools out, I will now have to buy another one of these:

    7455.jpg

They picked it up on the X-Ray machine, and wouldn't let me take it through (fair enough) but also didn't have a way of me picking it up on the way back :( At least they let me keep the pump.

Going to be checking ebay to make sure the guy doesn't list it!

    Any better/comparable but cheaper options?

I'm thinkin of spritzin the neoprene collar with some spray on proofer, see if that helps.

I've got a similar Northwave pair.. they're waterproof except for the big hole where your feet go in... so you end up with wetsuit effect around your feet

waterproof socks might be a decent addition to aid super toasty toes?

I find that as long as I stretch the ankle grips of my bibtights over the top of the boots they keep the water out. My bibtights are water-resistant, so the water going into the boots is minimal.

If it's really hossing it down then sealskinz are your friend for warm, dry feet.

Yeah I did this but my tights aren't water resistant. They could be though couldn't they  8)

I decided to find out if expensive cycling clothing is worth it and liked the look of Gore stuff. Wasn't too horrific at £42.99
