  • Bought some new shoes:

I just hope I get the MTB ones from the picture, rather than the road ones in the description. :)

    I think they're Viper Evo X1's.

    Harumph !
Postie has absconded with my latest package of goodies from Merlin :-(
How come these deliveries always arrive in the short window you're not in the house ?
I now have to go to the post office parcel detention centre tomorrow. Let's hope this time they won't have lost my delivery !

Is it wrong to feel cheated by having to wait an extra day for a new waterproof, a rear mech and a computer ?

I'm sure they operate in a parallel universe - can't count the number of times one of us has stayed in only to find the little red card on the mat after nipping into the kitchen to make a cup of tea.
  • Wiggle Charge Spoon Saddle, Wiggle Charge Grips, Inner tubes, C02/manual pump, Cycle-computer, 13T dura-ace sprocket, pedals and clips - I think that may be everything....

next things on the list are either going to be drops or bull horn bars - cant decide between the two, and perhaps a 15t Dura-ace or a 52 tooth chain ring :P they will be a while away anyway :D
FCN: 5/6 Fixed Gear (quite rapid) in normal clothes and clips :D

  • I have to say that Wiggle's service is consistently excellent. I ordered some shoes yesterday at 3pm and they've just arrived even though I opted for the free postage. Chapeau chaps. :)

Humph, am now sulking - I ordered some winter tights from Wiggle on Monday morning and they've still not arrived.

  • Oh my God. What HAS he done to that bike?

He appears to have an extremely practical bar bag with map holder. Very handy, dontcha know...
