I can barely believe I have a degree in electronic engineering, I find myself looking for instructions on wiring batteries on parallel :?

Seriously WTF was I doing at uni? OH RIGHT!!!!

Inspired by fellow BR On-one inbred owners i've ordered one of these

    FROONSD.jpg

To replace the Beast and Ridgeback, I'm then planning on turning the Mercian into my new FGSS commuter, is that wise?

I hope to build something along these lines

Anyway it means I'll have a 56cm Reynolds 531 steel frame & forks up for sale, needs repainting and has a couple of small dents but rides beautifully very very light.

    Top Tip

If you decide to sell it on EBAY use the words "Fixed" "Fixie" and "Project" in the title.

Bidders will then give you seriously stupid money for it.

(Obviously you need to include "Reynolds 531" and "Steel" too)

Duuuuude, you got a mountain bike. Like, gnarly, man :D:D:D

Seriously, I've been toying with the idea of getting an Inbred frame and building a new MTB around it - be interested to see how yours turns out.

Yeh I know but rather offer you lot first, just in case someone has ideas of going FGSS this summer/winter I've toyed with the idea of building it back into a road bike or tourer but honestly I can barely move in my garage these days, plus i'm gonna need room for a carbon sportive number soon, hopefully.

Haribos from Morrisons, cheaper than buying bike stuff from Wiggle :D An hair dryer for the application of heli tape from Argos for the costly sum of £4 and a longsleeve top from Ebay.

I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

It's too late for me now but if this is really a Kinesis frame then damn that's cheap

I've got the Ghibli parabolics as well. They're ace.

Now, it's getting to the point where clothing coordination may have to take place before each social ride ;)

Aw, I read that as "I'm getting Biondino a pair". As it happens, I do have some pink Endura glasses that look very similar :)

A cheapo Deda Magic Stick post to replace the knackered Ritchey one on my Focus - it won't hold the saddle in place for any decent length of time anymore. Grrr at non bling expenditure!

The Wiggle vouchers that recently came my way courtesy of a goodly amount of you lot as thanks for the SC Stats, have been put to good use. Arriving on my doorstep this morning:

A proper track pump to replace my aging and not very good Aldi Special from a couple of years ago

A workstand - been pondering one for a while; got one now.

Base layers - just in time for the mornings warming up a bit more.

A few spare inner tubes + carbon inlay to reduce PF visits.

Thanks to CJCP for organising the whip round, and thanks to all who contributed.

    :)
