Think I might need a slightly longer stem on the weekender so I ordered a 110mm FSA OS150 to replace my 100mm FSA OS99. The stack height is different. Its about 5mm lower. Grrr.

Want a white bonty race lite 110mm?
What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?

Bloody Firefox, and in fact most web browsers. Give me some privacy by default. FF has a new update that installed itself earlier today, and now I find that hitting Ctl+T to create a new empty tab to hide what I'm looking at (BR, Telegraph as often as not) doesn't create a neat anonymous blank screen, it sticks up an array of panels showing what all the other tabs are doing. Just like Chrome, Opera and probably any other browser currently available. FFS developers, I want private browsing by default, not by having to look for some new option to tick and hope that it sticks. And not because I'm looking at pr0n etc; at home it's no-one's business what I look at on the net and no-one should be able to pick up where I've left off to squaffle through what I've been doing on the internet, and at work it's just better not to make it plainly obvious even if we do all accept that someone somewhere is logging all activity for future reference.

Web browser developers. Make privacy the default. I don't want a tab full of what's going on, or address bars that reveal to the world everything I've looked at to all & sundry. Gah.

Flush with the joy of Bradley Wiggins' victory in the Dauphine, enjoying what I've watched so far of the Tour of Switzerland, and almost peeing myself with excitement for the upcoming Tour, I thought I'd pop over to 'Pro Race' to see what the guys there are talking about.

I know for a fact that at least 4 parcels were delivered to my wife's work over the weekend, possibly five if my wheels were dispatched. I've texted the Mrs three times today and each time she's responded but not mentioned whether the boxes are there or not.

Mind, I've not asked her because if I do then I can't feign surprise about them.

Is that a lazy generalisation about folk who'll be heading home to watch England play France?

Same here! Until I encountered the the homoerotic male bonding spectacle that is the Open Air New Moston Mass Brawl which spilled out on the road and nearly knocked me off. Wasn't even to do with the football - think it was a gang thing, which was speedily broken up by six massive men who steamed out of the Broadway pub and scared them all to death.

All the parts for my wheels were at the wheel builder just after the bank holiday and mine were 'prioritised' and I was told they would be the first out the door.

On Thursday I was told that they would be the next ones built.

Today I've been told that they will be finished and dispatched either today or tomorrow.

Grrr. I don't mind waiting if you can give me a date and stick to it. However, if you keep promising the earth and missing I will get annoyed.

F@#€ing fairy!!! Why do you invariably visit when I'm in a rush? Had to leave work early to collect my daughter from school. Ready to leave and the phone won't stop ringing. Get out the door, but still have time enough. Flat tyre. Aaaargh! Fix it and ride as fast as I can. Get there just in time to avoid being called David Cameron.
Standard of driving from school run mothers made an already exciting ride a bit too hair raising at times.

    Ah, good man!

I'm scared of the spoiler threads because I generally don't get to do my cycle race viewing until the early hours of the morning once Mrs-Trousers-to-be has fallen asleep on the sofa. I guess I'm safe for a little while in the mornings, however.

I do wonder if continental cycling fans metaphorically pee all over their finest riders for not being good enough, or supposedly for doping (without any worthwhile evidence to suggest that they actually are)? We really are a nation of whiners.
