Rob (RobHolland),
If you see this, I have tried sending you a couple of messages through here but They still seem to be in my 'outbox'. I don't know if it's because you don't post that you can't receive messages?

Oooooo.. Tempted to try and get down there for a spin. Forecast looks good for early morning. I know it's gonna be muddy after today but I'm getting out anyway as catching up after a week away in Devner so need to rack up the miles..
Ian, if I PM you my mobile would you mind txting my yours in return and I can let you know if I'm gonna make it? (I meant to do the same the last couple of times we rode there but forgot to ask )
Also, OK if I take another couple of guys along?0 -

Hi mate, yeah we ride there when we can (nights) and all over essex and further out if we can. Langdon is great but the not allowing bikes becomes tiresome.
Thorndon is you best bet, not as hilly but no one tells you to get off!
depending on what type of riding your into theres loads around, Danbury, epping etc?0 -

How did you find it? they are a friendly bunch of lads you dont have to ride like a nutter though it is quite fast up the front but loads of people in the middle know the route so there is something there for everybody.0 -

All - just thought I'd let you know that Essex County Council have a survey relating to what happens with the Hadleigh Olympic Mountain Bike Course after the olympics. Survey only takes 5 - 10 mins and asks about what level it should be left at and whether it should be added to with extra facilities...... so this good chance for local (mountain) bikers to let them know what it should be like and who it should be aimed at.
Some of the reports on the legacy seemed to suggest they're thining about removing most of the obstacles etc - now where's the fun in that!. So this perfect opp to let them know there is demand for it to be real decent place.... and lets face it Essex & the South East needs all the help it can get.
Survey needs to be completed by end of Septemeber and here is the link:

Spread the word!.0 -

Due to a lack of recent riding, the last time I went I got dropped by them and ended up alone in the woods (queue Scooby Doo theme tune!).
Thank goodness for iPhone maps app to get me home! Luckily was just abotu dusk so (vene tho I had them) lights not needed....
Failing that Muddylegs had sent a posse to round me up , but I didn't wat to slow them down anymore.
Hoping to be able to join those rides regularly soon....0 -
One of the blokes was riding with them last week. He said there was two groups fast and a slower group.
Only one way find out how slow thou. mm Tonight 19:00 from shop.
