Went over the bars on the tech trail in Warley Gap, landed on hard ground on my shoulder.

Tore the ligaments, :( but it's on the mend. :)

just got back from thorndon, very patchy over there, some very fast rolling, some deep puddles, some very slippery greasy mud.
i found it too dark by about 20:10  i had lights but it was still too light for them to have any affect
oh well i'll just have to go out later?
    who's a regular night rider?

Just a few of us do a loop up to hylands and back though some singletrack and paths but when it gets really muddy we stay around fryerning. Meet at 7:30 at the viper which just happens to be a very nice pub ;)

Clay we do the same route as you did with us the other week but in the dark and usually deep mud, it's good for keeping the fitness through the winter

its harder to keep the same pace but it all depends on how good your lights are as i found out last winter.
i thought my lights were great the year before, but now being that little bit quicker and used to riding on mud i found my lights were holding me back, so i have orderd one of those magicshine 900 lumens sets.
