just in case anyone was interested in the new cycling centre over in redbridge that i didnt know was there, i went, its small but fun. you would need to do about 4+ laps to feel anything? would be ideal training/beginers trail centre

Thanks Rob and Rich for the ride on Saturday. Sorry I had to get off after an hour, but I was time trialling that afternoon... and today too, legs are feeling very sore now.

If anyone wants to ride the trails at Hog Hill, best time to do it is on a Wednesday at the Beastwayrace.... as well as the regular trails round the outside of the circuit, they mark out trails across the planted areas and link it all together using a different route every week. You get a transponder chip and they publish lap splits for all the riders so you can see how fast/slow you are compared to everyone else. It's a really good fun event with a friendly atmosphere.

time i finished riding .. it was nearly five /six hours :oops: popped home for an hour then went out again loopy..did you get out in the end

Hi Guys,

Have been reading your posts and am in your area. Usually ride Epping, Swinley, Thetford. Looking for more local stuff as sometimes struggle to make time for long distance venues.

I understand you all meet at various places, Rayleigh, Dunmow, Thorndon.

Interested in meeting up and investigating more local rides. Is anyone riding tonight from Rayleigh or what other rides are up and coming?

I read that Grip bike shop in Rayleigh ride out Tuesday night at 7 they do a Thursday night too.

I'm going to try somewhere closer to the front end as the back end is too bouncy. i'll have a play and see what you guys think and then maybe i'll make a saturday ride for a change? and get you all on film having little SPD moments?

I did manage to get out on Tuesday, but was 1/2 behind, had a little scout around Hockley Woods for an hour, looking forward to hooking up to explore a longer ride !
