    Ride was as good as ever, me Robert and Rich no 2 out today.
    Rain didn't really hit us till afternoon and didn't affect trails .
    Rich was jumping off bike into various trees and stumps :shock: hope your legs alright Rich.
    Might get out on monday or tuesday if your out then?

    Well I swear that was more winter than summer ride, very wet feet, that river was a bit deeper than last week. :twisted:

    Haven't been that wet and muddy in ages, but still very enjoyable.

    Couldn't believe I'd been out for 3 hours when I dragged my wet ar*e in the door. :lol:

    that mud killed me :oops: feel like ive been kicked up the arse :lol: v.bumpy for a hard tail but most enjoyable and yes that river mmmm well say no more haa ha ha ha ha

    me too , probably 2pm suits me best as No1 goes to Nursary at 1pm.

    Just got back from the Beastway in redbridge. that looks like a fun place to ride.

    This fence appeared over the winter.

    There is a footpath that runs from Warley Street to Warley Gap, along a section of this which has always been a very pretty walk, this fence appeared with lots of clearance and a large ditch.

    It all encompasses a large field with with quite a few copses in it, lots of hedge planting has also been done.

    I presumed it was because of new ownership, but work suddenly stopped at the bottom of Holden Wood which is where the jumps are.

    I will try to find out more.
