Hmmmm is that old school?
I'm still riding my Look KG281(team Kelme edition) from new
I guess that makes me old too!
I love it - haven't found anything that I enjoy to ride as much...el_presidente wrote:Here's my Look KG241
A v slightly old-school frame that I picked up v cheap on Ebay
Fulcrum 3s shod with Conti GP4000; SRAM Force mechs, calipers & shifters; FSA Gossamer crank; Look carbon stem; USE alien post; Chris King headset; Spec Alias saddle; Cinelli Vai bars; Ultegra pedals; Tacz Tao cages0 -
i don't know if it's old school or no...but I love the frame Your Look is simply lovely. Nice combination of colours. I want to switch also for a white tape and saddle. They look much better.0

Here's some more up-to-date pics of my Soloist Team following a few upgrades:
Now wearing a black & white team edition Fizik Arione saddle, 3T Ergosum Pro bars (testing the shape and drop prior to getting Ergosum or Ergonova Team carbon ones), 3T Funda Pro forks, black Tacx Tao bottle cages and black & white Stella Azzurro bar tape.
Previous incarnation still in my signature for comparison - looks much better now I think! 8)0 -
This must be my last bike build for a while, unless I get a recumbent or unicycle, in the garage is:
Road carbon best bike, Winter road bike, Full sus MTB, commuter, and now my singlespeed (which will be fixed when I buy a wheel).
Picked up the frame at a jumble, then built it up using GP4's on Suntour sprint, a Campy Strada chainset, old style Chorus brake levers and whatever else was in the garage.Weather info: http://www.staydry.me.uk0 -

Thats lovely m8. Nice purchase.
As a newbie to cycling, it amazes me just how many different bikes there are out there that I've never heard of....lol.Ethernet (noun): Something used to catch the etherbunny.

Thanks, I certainly really like it. I certainly hadn't heard of them before I got it... I think they are better known in the states. Such a friendly company though - one of the co-founders was quite happy to sit and chat to me on the phone about the bike and what he thought of various components for it.
Your pinarello looks good though, I was fairly seriously tempted by some of the ones in velo ecosse (assuming thats where yours came from), they had that Prince in the window for quite a while... mmmm...0 -
Just bought one of these for a first bike, I didnt want to spend a huge amount being a total newbie... But im still waiting for it to clear customs....

Ta...!!!
Yep, thats where I got mine, had a nice surprise. Put a deposit on it when it was listed in there at £950 and a few weeks later when my Cylescheme voucher arrived, I called up the shop and they told me it was on offer at £800. Result!!!.
I love the FP1 to bits, although I've not really got anything else to compare it to, performance and ride wise.
I'll admit it, I bought it 90% for the looks the thing has.Ethernet (noun): Something used to catch the etherbunny.

Quite right too. Your bike has to be the best looking £800 steed it is humanly possible to buy! Is it as sweet to ride as it is to look at?0 -

That's a good looking bike for an entry level thing!
Yep, thats the main reason I went for it. Lovely looking and now ive got it, its even better when you actually see it There are better entry level bikes such as the Boardman, but looks wise I would need to spend double to find something better.Cycling never gets any easier, you just go faster - Greg LeMond0 -
here is mine ... bar tape is sometimes white ... for now black ...

Here's my ride.
I'm all jealous of you peoples ride's, some of them are dream machines
Anyway here's mine, awaiting new break pads, new crank, new cables for breaks, new front right shifter (currently using one off old bike), front mech configuring, hopefully will be riding tomorrow or Saturday. It's being a week of bad things with the bike nearly everyday something going wrong on both of my bikes.
Looks awesome now it's clean0
