That is indeed a nice looking bike, but pleeeeeeeeeeeeease tell me you do not ride it in that gear!?!??!Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -
well spotted!
And no I don't. My RH shifter was a bit sticky and I had rammed it too hard, causing the ratchet stopper in the shifer housing to sheer off so the ratchet went over the top - causing it to stick in the largest sprocket. Its sorted now though and rode it for the first time.0 -

Nice bike by the way - here's my new creature.
Will you have another attempt at taping the bars?I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
Yes - they've all been redone. I had been fannying around with the broken RH shifter so hadn't been doing them up all nice and pretty.
I'll get a new picture up soon.0 -

Com' on Redvee, what about the dodgy saddle angle and the number of spacers above the stem? Don't get me started about the mtb pedals!
edit, do I also spy lockrings on the valve stems~? Horror of horrors :twisted:0 -
How I get to work. It's slow but it's a short ride, only two and a bit miles.
I go through a park and sometimes the gate is shut and I have to lift it as it won't fit through the pedestrian hole (I don't think they're called pedestrian holes but the word escapes me), it's heavy.
I'm not sure how I feel about the coaster brake, might change it for a normal hub brake. Might swap the front hub for a SA one with brake and dynamo. Might get one of these racks for it:

Lots of changes cometh. Originally purchased as it can take a rear brake but its staying fixed, too much fun it turns out.
Bloody harsh ride for a 20 mile each wayer0 -

busted on the rules, that was the bike after putting it together after delivery. Have moved some parts around since. It is running a front brake and currently 42x15 but changing to 51x17 when all the parts arrive. Should be moving to drops with some STI brakes, although quite like the bull horns now!
Need a new saddle so the Arione can go back on the roadie. Maybe get a Selle Italia gel, it is quite a harsh ride!!
Would it be criminal to install the Crud guards that arrived yesterday? :oops:0 -
Here she is, my Trek Soho 1.0
Trek SOHO hybrid bike - before by Entropy1971, on Flickr
Since modified with a rear pannier rack in anticipation of a cycling holiday, proper mudguards to be added soon0 -

Lets see some pics of this pig of yours?
New chainring, cog and chain fitted today, hopefully next week I won't have to spin along like a tumble dryer that someone has just lobbed a brick into.

Just a heads up, the chain is upside down, the big arch should run on the chain, it will run much quieter the other way round,0 -
damn - I just learnt something...Cheers

 thanks!! Glad that's fixed before the maiden voyage... just when I'd got the hang of rebuilding my roadie, I had to get a FG and start again!0

Right....so where can I get one of these front racks from?0 -
The little one, erm, dunno, I got mine from East Coast Bikes in Hull. I found out today it makes a passable aero bar.
The big one, Brick Lane Bikes import them.0 -
Thanks. BLBs it is then - they look awesome!0
-
Yeah, I've still not got round to getting one.
My friend got some old apple crates to use as shelves in her shop for £3 each. I might try making one into a front rack.0
