It's not the most offensive, no, but simple enough for your brain.0

I hope the two gladiators don't get bored. There's a whole arena of paying customers to be considered. We're baying for blood.

The thing about C+ers is their persistence.
And patience.
I think it's because we have a fairly high contingent of audaxers. It's possible that to a downhiller the degree of persistence and patience we have might seem as obsession, whereas for us the boredom threshold of the MTB contingent might seem like ADD on tartrazine.
Only time will tell.
Oh, hey Eurostar. Nice to see you.
And EvilTwin. Been a while.

Hello Ravenbait, are you still in love?
Not sure what I'm doing peeking into the ladies' enclosure. But I'll try to behave. FWIW I've spent a surprising amount of time sharing hot tubs and swimming pools and steam baths and saunas with naked lesbians in a rustic retreat in northern California and haven't disgraced myself. If you're ever cycling the west coast I suggest you call in there - Orr Springs. http://www.andersonic.net/orr/ There's nowhere better for tired legs. Such a relaxing vibe too. One of my favourite places in the world. Can't wait to get back.

I am still in love. You will always have a soft spot in my heart.
That sounds absolutely splendid, Eurostar. What a glorious way to spend one's time.

Eurostar --> "I hope the two gladiators don't get bored. There's a whole arena of paying customers to be considered. We're baying for blood. Twisted Evil"
Gladiators? Hardly a fair description really. Even the Romans didn't send two *ahem* chaps into the arena with such a huge disparity of weapons. I felt like a mirmillo going up against a chap with a toothpick....
But really, enough is enough. I'm off now. KD Lang cds to sort out, copies of Diva to re-arrange, you know how it is...0 -
Oooh, I feel so dominated.
Good weekend nobheads?0 -
Gosh, it's still running?
The poor little creature. Obviously its mummy didn't teach it how to behave in mixed company. Perhaps we should feel sorry for it, on the grounds that it had a deprived childhood?
Then again, we could just point and laugh.
Morning, Ladies. I do hope you've all been having fun?L

i've had a superb weekend. i rode a little over 110 road miles over the week (on my mtb of COURSE), drank beer and watched lots of very fit men in lycra.
so to summarise, who is from what forum here? i am enjoying the bickering, but it's a bit like walking in halfway through an action film and not knowing who you're supposed to be rooting for. bikeybikey0 -

morning! <waves>
i've never been on MBUK. i was always lead to believe that it was full of 10 year olds and txt spk. no offence - just what i've HEARD.
i am an independent. i used to occasionally hang around wmb, but i was never accepted into the 'clique' due to a wildly differing sense of humour and a propensity to upset everyone.
i am so misunderstood....
i believe they have started up their own forum now though? it was a local forum for local people if you get my drift... bikeybikey0 -
Morning ladies! 8)
I spent part of my weekend watching a burly bloke with a lump hammer whacking my crankset.
it wasn't pretty....0 -

Morning everyone!
MBUK here as well.
I'm surprised at most of the MBUK people's intelligence, wit and kindness. But yes, there are some 10 year old text speak people there. However, it's highly encouraged to not use text speak which means that text speak is even forbidden in a rule, basically.
My weekend consisted out of a Saturday of working working and working, but it was my last day of work so that made it all better! Sunday was resting and crying at the bad weather. So all in all not that bad. Today I'm enjoying my first day of freedom!0 -
raining? where do you live?
i got burnt saturday AND sunday. it was baking here! bikeybikey0 -

It's been sunny here all afternoon, me and my mum have been down to the tip (recycling center) a lot today and being the only two ladies there all the men helped and chatted my mum up, I couldn't stop laughing.0

I wish I could remember 76! My parents rave about it as being rather hot! Unfortunately/luckily I am class of 78...0
