Just lucky I guess. On the Crazy Guy on a Bike website the pictures are initially displayed in a regular size with the option to click each one to full size. The link I used for this forum is to the full size picture. The camera used to take the pictures is a 8 megapixel Olympus digital camera and that's how big the pictures come from it.0 -
Hello all and happy New Year.
Here's my Thorn Nomad at 11,990 feet.

Here's my Bike Friday New World Tourist in Switzerland.

And in the FLT Gallery http://www.fullyloadedtouring.com, my girl Nancy's bikes are shown in images 003 and 072.
I recently numbered all 150+ images in the gallery so bike owners can easily reference their photos. Additional changes will likely occur on the FLT gallery's first year anniversary in March.
Cheers
Ron

Miles2go - that's the Rhone Glacier isn't it, and you're on the Furka? It's shrunk a good bit - must get back there sometime.

And a rather poor shot of mine that breaks all those site rules for composition.

Hi MartDavis,
Is that battery charging gizmo commercialy available or is home made?
D.0 -
You can buy similar solar powered chargers but the are a bit pricey: http://www.solio.com/v2/0
-
Thanks, I like the idea of being able to charge batteries etc from a unit that takes power from a dyno hub and/or the sun. I seem to remember reading about one somewhere but it might have been home made too.0

Here's my Surly Long Haul Trucker that I just built up.
Plan to use it for commuting and touring duties.
Steerer is a little long, soon to be trimmed once I have decided on the correct bar height.

Thats a really nice bike [8D]0 -

Thanks for the comments
I've since cut down the steerer tube having settled on the right length.
I'm really pleased with it, its a bit heavy, but that really doesn't bother me too much.
Very steady and predictable ride.
If I were to get worried about the weight I would get a custom made frame to the same dimensions as the LHT.

Riding back home to Derby from near Wells Somerset in April .As Iam far from fit I know its going to hurt . Still I have broken the mileage down to about between 50 and 60 a day ,so plenty of time for cups of tea . I will be booking a nice south westly wind as well .I shall be riding old faithful .http://www.flickr.com/photos/74418119@N00/339496127/
