on reflection probably not eligible under trade descriptions act, saw somewhere somwat esoteric debate with regards what constitutes expedition or tour - these a fortnight - probably should be classified as "jaunts"
be good0 -
I plod along when I tour. Some days 10 miles, others.. well maybe 80 or so. Picture was taken during a tour I did along the length of the Rhine from the Hook of Holland down to Switzerland. Yes there is some silly looking kit on there but I purchased a few last mintue things on the cheap as I was moving country after this trip.

Nothing on the scale of your trips, and certainly wouldn't qualify for a place on 'the other site' but here's my tourer shod for a plod around Scotland (Glasgow-Inverness). Touring is touring in my book....... but I confess to being envious of those of you who pack up for months on end!

There are no rules here, if you tour, jaunt, expedition or plod by bike, you post a piccy of your bike.
Keeps people off Miles' back, and you get to show your ride to the world.
smiffy I see you went down the Gorge du Tarn too, what a place loved it. But out the far end up to the Corniche de Cevennes nearly killed me.
thanks so far.

The tourist who shamed me this year I met in Sete. He had left his home in mid Sweden to ride to the North Cape, then down to Gibraltar. And back. At 64.If I had a stalker, I would hug it and kiss it and call it George...or Dick

Out of interest, does anyone have any recommendations for free photo hosting online? Flickr is ok for now but they don't give you that much space in the long run. I'd like somewhere I can upload photos to while I'm away, preferably for free!!0 -

Cheers for that.
I didn't realise you could host photos on Picasa aswell - is there a limit to the amount you can put on there?
I have a Gmail account so I'll go check it out - thank Jibi.0 -
This'll be a first if it works.

That's Billy and I think you're looking at his home for the time being.
While that's my estate, I promise you there's not a hot dog, ice cream or pie stand within many miles of this location. [:)]
