Lidl (www.lidl.co.uk) have got cycling stuff in on 26/03/07, including shoes for œ13 and a comprehensive toolkit for under œ20. Aldi normally follows up with cycling gear of their own, and personally I found it better quality. Either way, if you're cycling on a budget take a look at what's on offer.

Hi all,
If anyone wants to try out a hydration backpack to see if its a better way to carry drinks you can't do any better than to pop along to your local Tesco. They have a 6 litre pack including a 2 litre bladder for the extortionate price of œ2.48. At that price even if the bladder is rubbish and splits after a short while can't really complain. if you get along with it, you can always upgrade to a better make later.

The hydration packs are œ2.48 in the Long Eaton branch of Tesco near Nottingham, I told a couple of workmates about them and they have both bought them, so to answer the question they are definitely that price in that particular store, umfortunately no knowledge of other stores, maybe someone else could have a look in their local store to confirm it's a country wide price.
