I'm seriously tempted to get a front for use as a nice dry-weather training wheel at that price - can hardly NOT be worth it !

On-One and Planet-X are 'sister companies' . I wouldnt hesitate in buying one , the stocks are usually limited and once they are gone they are gone .

  • I ordered an Ultegra front and received email confirmation a few minutes later : has to be a bargain at œ30 plus P & P.

Just ordered a pair of 2005/2006 Nike 10/2 3/4 bib knicks (with a superb quality chammy) for œ24.29 in exactly the right size for me. When they were just out on the market, they retailed at œ70/80..

My order was over œ150 so I qualified for 10% discount on all items ordered, so asking price for these was œ26.99; a bargain even before discount [^]

Well chuffed. The other items were a XXX lite carbon fibre seatpost and XXX Lite carbon fibre stem...

    Got them from www.lexs.co.uk

  • From 8 March Lidl are selling these motorbike boot liners for œ5:

    http://www.lidl.co.uk/uk/home.nsf/pages ... Liners.ar8

Look a lot like waterproof socks to me.

If I remember correctly, last year, cycle gear came out at Lidl about 2 weeks after the motorbike stuff
    No chain, no gain
  • Lidl also selling battery charger which claims to charge 2V, 6V and 12V batteries : not sure how 'intelligent' it is but it's only œ4.99 !
All the blub says is "Suitable for 2V, 6V and 12V lead, lead gel and lead acid batteries. With charging indicator and incorrect polarity warning LED"
  • maxbass - best priced polar hrms I've seen - Very tempted to get one even though my own is working fine, just that the glass on my Polar has a chip which lets in sume moisture plus it only holds 1 exercise file and I'd love to be able to record multiples like the CS200 and 300 do I think.
Hmm, must resist, must resist !

Thanks for the tip about Polar HRMs! Ordered mine this morning, got a phonecall 2hrs later saying they'd sold out of that particular one but would do me the next model up for the same price, then a confirmation mail 90 mins later saying it had been posted. Can't fault that sort of service, think I might use Chevin cycles again.

Which model did you get in the end? My cs200cad arrived yesterday morning, one working day after ordering it. Very smooth transaction, thanks Chevin Cycles.

Fluff, sounds like you got more than a deal there!

I got my Bontrager hardcase tyres yesterday. From All Terrain Cycles for œ10 each (they're about œ15 everywhere else). When they arrived I was pleased to discover that they were the reflective sidewalled ones, which normally cost another extra few quid.
