Are you a lawyer or something - who cares what a court may or may not think. Both sides are already wanted for war crimes, who cares whether there is a legal threshold, which is arbitrary anyway, and whether it has been passed or not.

Excellent use of Newtonian mechanics.

Why is it the negative news Humanity always seems fixated on?

Tell me some good that's happened on Earth today.

I found out someone in my company had effectively stolen a lot of money that should have been paid to me and instead was paid to him, and after some sleuthing on Sunday night and putting together the paper trail I have been found to indeed have been the victim of said theft and I am now being rewarded the money I should have been paid (thousands), at the expense of said thief.
Justice!

Are they still employed?

Remains to be seen. Whether they can pass it off as a genuine administrative error or not. It's a sales attribution thing.
I have circumstantial evidence to suggest otherwise, but we shall see.

Attack by pager seems to have been unpleasant as it beeped first, so everyone looked at it. Then it exploded, so lots of eye injuries.

Given a lot of blokes would probably keep a pager in their front trouser pockets, some of the alternatives would not be great for the owner of the pager either.

Have you thought of gifting them a mobile phone to show there's no hard feelings (I'm not sure a pager would cut it in the modern day City of London)?

It makes a significant difference to how other countries with a predisposition to disagree with us will react. I.e. do the US/UK/others stay silent on, support or object to an illegal act.
It places Israel's traditional allies in a weak position, in having potentially to tacitly support Israel in such actions, and prevent other countries from doing the same.
But you know all of this, you are just getting aroused by the military elegance of the attack.

Israel have repeated the trick this time with walkie talkies

Tomorow, will all the pigeons in Labanon explode?
(If so, perhaps the Israelis could explode all the pigeons over here?)
0 -
We need a pigeon thread.

Until Technology/Intelligent matter gets so advanced it supercedes Humanity. Then it's survival of the fittest amongst Intelligent matter strains.

I want some coffee but I don't want it to deplete my nutritional uptake. I might just have some water.

I'm a bit concerned about the microplatics though.

What could you possibly do to avoid them?

Well notTerry, I could heat/distill the water to purify it, try one of those filter jug things, or try and forget about it and be blissful in my ignorance.

Not sure leaving the targets maimed but alive is as efficient as Rick initially suggested. It leaves them capable to carry on and with even more of a grudge.
0 -
It's a military tourism that maiming costs your enemy more than killing them.
But it wasn't really an act of war. It was a state sponsored terrorist act.
0 -
Yeah I can understand it in a traditional military sense. It’s bad for morale for a bunch of squaddies to see their colleagues badly injured. Also, on the battlefield it takes up resources to treat an injured soldier. When it’s a bunch of terrorists driven by hatred all it’s likely to do is feed that hatred.
0 -
Yeah, insightful people have said "an eye for an eye leaves everyone blind". Either side it's a new generation of hate being fostered.
It's easy to say that mind from a naive perspective when you're distanced from the reality of the situation.
