Sounds like Pete Kennaugh has got a gig as a World Tour DS. Any idea where he's headed?

Have they signed Carlton Kirby?

There was chat on the last episode of Never Strays Far. Like he's on some offer, deal not finalised but nearly there...

Also mentioned on Never Strays Far was a suggestion from David Millar (seemed like a slip of the tongue) that Cav "has always wanted his own team", so it seems something is in the pipeline there

Ah PK no longer being able to appear on the show.

I'm sure they'll find another more recently retired eloquent pro with a penchant for loafing around France each July to take his place.

Latest pod suggests DSing at Ineos is the immediate future.
2020/2021/2022 Metric Century Challenge Winner0 -
He’s tied to Eurosport through the podcast at least this year. I would imagine he’d stay there as it’s more than just three weeks a year.

I can't see an ITV cycling pundit role being much of a draw (other than around other work). Do they send their people to France still? That might be seen as a perk but it isn't exactly regular work.

Anyone know what Sir Gary of Imlach does for the rest of the year?

Drinks coffee and looks cool.

A very good question well asked. Some quick internet sleuthing suggests he's a ghost writer
He presents ITVs other ASO race programmes (Dauphine, Paris Roubaix etc) and has previously done the coverage of the Vuelta

Huge, if true.

That sounds unlikely to me.

Norwegian Kristian Blummenfelt from Triathlon/Ironman to Jayco, possibly, with the aim of winning the Tour in '28.
For perspective, he's 30 already and as far as I know has no experience of riding in a peloton. But hey, he's got insane VO2 max or something so I guess it'll go.

He's a big lad, no? Would have to lose a lot of weight to come close to being a GC challenger.

Lots of people aiming to win the Tour in the next few years are destined for disappointment and most of them have been cycle racing since they were kids. Feels very optimistic for someone to come in from another sport with that hope.

Top LOLZ. He’s got no chance in a World Tour level stage race.

Worked out alright* for Lance.

Superb fishing, I'll bite 😅
It did take him seven years to "win" the Tour, and he was 21 when he started riding pro
