You're aware it's a conservative policy right...

So it's from 1st July 2025 it becomes a bad idea?

You ain't seen nothin' yet...

You'd think that if Labour are the answer to your prayers, they'd be able come up with something better after having 14 years to think of good policies.

Have the tories not had the same 14 years?

They have, but you seem to think that Labour will answer your prayers and this is what they come up with. Does it fill you with confidence?

Are you still missing that this part of the plan is not a Labour policy, it is consensus.
Some of the other bits in the plan are good ideas.

I don't know what makes you say that, I just want the current lot gone, I am not expecting miracles.

Just as well.

No, just commenting on a post about about what Labour said they would do being moronic. Are you trying trying be clever here?

Not a lot but this was an open goal.

Just as well you weren't expecting much.

Good news but not enough to get my vote.
At least they have realised it would be a stupid idea. Let's hope they can apply that approach to some of their other policies.

Seem to be struggling to coherently articulate their private schools policy and a few other things. Fortunate that their opposition are making it so easy for them.

Meh they're not being honest.
"We think private schools are bad for the country, but we can't say that because it's not popular with basically anyone in power or in the poress, so the least we can do is make it more expensive and whack some tax on it".

That isn't it though. It's red meat for their voters that think rich people are dodging taxes by sending kids to private school.

They haven't announced their manifesto commitment to install an ice rink in hell yet then.

Labour have announced that they are doing precisely nothing on this issue. Are you the sort of person who is easily pleased?

I'm merely amused at the thought that Labour might be targeting your vote.

That's Labour for you.
I suppose the regulators can come up with some reason why nuclear power reduces inequality if they're creative enough....

Damit labour enforcing a law passed under a (checks notes ...) Conservative government.

Sounds like Starmer is doing his best to carry on that tradition based on your post.

Is it even true? Regardless, surely we can come up with a reason why reliable energy with improved climate change impact reduces inequality.

Can you do it without spending gratuitous amounts of public money on consultants though!
