There is a fair amount of polling to suggest that this will make some difference. You will hear a lot of noise to the contrary, but criminal convictions, rather than civil, are potentially a problem for him.
It may also relieve some pressure on judges elsewhere, now that some other judge has already shit the bed by allowing the legal system to run its course.

He’ll probably still insist on calling Biden ‘crooked’ every time he speaks despite being the one who is a convicted criminal. Amazed they found 12 jurors who didn’t split their decision on political lines (if they were all Democrats Trump’s jury consultant must have been really bad).

I am pleasantly surprised he was found guilty on all charges as that was not the consensus view, but I stand by my earlier assertion it’s all irrelevant for the election and I suspect, to use an annoying phrase, it’s “already priced in” the polls.

Can he find himself in further trouble if he keeps calling the judge crooked / corrupt etc.? It seems ridiculous that he can keep publically saying that sort of thing with sanction.

Will get a big fine but apparently it’s super unlikely at his age to get prison for that kind of crime.
It’s all a big nothing really. My mother in law insists BoJo is innocent of attending party type gatherings, so I suspect the same logic applies here to his supporters

yes, the verdict has been given, but the sentencing has still to come, the judge can take post-verdict behaviour into account
