Need to reconsider priorities.

You should move to a sensible time zone. CET rules!

Schedule is set for us boomers not middle age parents.😉

White shorts with a yellow jersey should be the next thing the UCI look at banning.
1 -
Hatch does a Kirby and somehow completely missed Kooij coming through. It was obvious 50m out who was going to win
0 -
Seems to have split up before I turned on. Not sure if it was crosswind related?
0 -
Think it was Ineos drilling it up a hill with 60km to go as per.
0 -
Bernal still with the big boys - great stuff.
Great scenery, good racing today.

Looks as if Matteo Jorgenson is the latest Visma world beater. Took off on the steep climb and nobody could get near him. He's got company now in the form of Skelmose and McNulty and they are riding away from the group of favourites.

Not sure why they’re letting Skeljmose wheel such so much.
0 -
Evenepoel not looking himself.
Skeljmose mugs the Yanks after sitting on their wheels for most of his time in the break.

Remco suddenly finds a bit of power to be best of the rest.

A personal pet peeve but I still think team jerseys should not be allowed to be similar to leaders jerseys.
Got that off my chest, carry on.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
He's a minute back on GC, it's fair enough his aim was the stage win.

Weird race in parts ....a lot of riders are basing their race around remco and kinda neutralising themselves

Not sure who would count as a favourite that is doing this race. Mads has looked OK. Other than that there aren’t many at P-N down to ride MSR at present. Plapp is down to ride and is doing well, not sure how MSR will suit him but a possible outsider.

Agreed - Pedersen's carried on his decent early season form.
MSR probably not one for the proper sprinters who can just about get over a hill at the moment, but Kooij looks strong if a miracle happens and it's not the expected finish.
De Lie anonymous and then home.

Typical, the day I didn't manage to watch and Skjelmose bags the stage

With the amended stage today, has anyone heard if the broadcast times have changed?
Currently showing as 1225 on D+, but also showing the original stage finish
0 -
Due to finish on Disco+ at 14:25
0 -
The coverage times remained the same.
Still over 50kms to go. Going to be the battle of the trains, now that the course is all about the final, lowish gradient climb.

Bike change for Remco but Hatch and Kelly missed it
0 -
Couldn’t expect much more in terms of GC movement from that finishing climb.
Very tight between the top two and positions three and four.

I was surprised how much work was left to REmco there. Once McNulty was dropped I thought Jorgenson should have tried to absolutely cook him. The race win was possible there

Having seen McNulty's post race interview, I think Jorgensen needs to behind him for danger rather than ahead. The yellow jersey looks ill.
================================
Cake is just weakness entering the body0 -
He looked so cold - I wanted someone to put a blanket round him.
Having to hang around to do interviews must be difficult after a stage like that.
0 -
It felt like the interviewer dragged the interview out unnecessarily long. He was shivering throughout.

Could be a good race today, any of the top four or five could end up winning GC

Buitrago abandons after a crash
Trek have Mads P up the road in group 2 and are going fairly quick at the front of the peloton down a wet descent, splits everywhere
