Think that may be just me

Remco is the sort of pick to let you down

Remco has come to race here then. Can’t believe it is his first ever race in France. Great to see Bernal back at the pointy end, I didn’t think it was going to happen.

Roglic is good at getting inside remcos head in these week long races

I know Mads likes a long sprint but that was a bit too early. Kooij takes it.

Average race speed so far is under 35kph.

Still 95kms to go, so it will be a late finish.

Small amount of excitement as Mads P led Skjelmose out for the bonus sprint, Bora sent a man up to spoil (van Poppel?) and he took 1st. Mads buggered it up as he ended up taking 2nd and Skjelmose 3rd

De Kleijn gets his first world tour level win - well done him, impressive start to the season after just missing out three times in UAE.

A few of the big teams got that very wrong and didn't have their man anywhere near where they needed to be when it mattered.
