Personally I think it looks gash. Might look better in the flesh though. I'm not one for car modding.0

it doesnt look very tidy, should have got a pro to do it

How much did that cost for it all? 50p? or is that too much!
Looks better standard imo
<b><center>Got My Vans On But They Look Like Sneakers</center></b>0 -
Yeh, well when I have no money its a bit hard to get a pro to do it. I'm going to be running some black tape on the sides to neaten it up a bit.
It does look better in the flesh, also now the air intake makes a cool noise when the engine is revved, [:D]
the top bit was just for a bit of fun really, the bottom section was what I set out to do, then my dad said why don't we try that bit. So we did.
I like it anyway, and thats all that matters really.

I think it might look better with the top bit with a standard grille, and the bottom bit with your crazy stuff (if you want the crazy stuff at all). Maybe it looks funny at the moment because the top bit is quite a big area.
Maybe I'm talking crap though.0 -

Looks worse TBH.
You lost the contour of the front so it looks dodgy.
It looks like you've had a smash and had to bodge a fix.
Why not keep your original grill and remove the stuff in the middle of it, and replace that with the mesh?

1. It does look like a bit of a bodge job.
2. You would be better off purchasing a specific grill made for you car.
3. From your registration number, I can find out your home address. I suggest you paintshop them out of the pics.

The edges look very scrappy.
The middle area also needs to be contoured to match the bonnet, as The Joe Show said.

The only mods id ever do to a car would be wheels and tyres, and maybe drop it slightly, but anything else would be for performance enhancement only
That grill does nothing, it just looks tacky.

First off. Don't get mesh for a car from a builders merchant. Guaranteed it hasn't been galvanized/rustproofed, and will look even worse after a sport of rain and a week or so.

It really does look bad. I understand what you've tried to do, i.e go for the de-badged grille look, but it looks tatty, incomplete and doesn't blend in with the rest of the car. That type of fiesta is very rounded; you should think of smooth, clean lines that compliment the contours of the body. That just looks like the front end of a cavalier now, and has ruined the line of the front end.
<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote">

<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">
To be honest mate, it doesn't. Don't take this as a personal onslaught, I'm just viewing my opinion on it. At the end of the day, it's your car, and you'll be the one driving it.
If you're serious about power mods for the engine, leave that for last (before the body-kitting). The next thing on your mind should be the suspension, brakes and wheels/tyres, although the wheels aren't necessary.
Suspension wise, there's a lot of kit out there for your fiesta, from springs to full-blown krypton coil-overs. A simple spring kit sometimes isn't enough; it just lowers the car, and doesn't always improve handling. A simple spring-and-damper set will set you back in the region of œ200-œ300, more than your average œ70 spring kit, but they will last longer, and both aftermarket springs and dampers will have been designed to work in conjunction.
Also bear in mind that if you lower a car, the wheel angles change, which will lead to mis-aligned wheels, and in the lomg run, uneven wear on the tyres and lack of handling. A couple of simple re-alignment kits from the likes of Eibach will sort out the problem, and help imprve the handling further, along with anti-roll bars and strut braces.
The brakes are just as important. No point having a car that can move at a decent pace if the brakes are like sponges. Standard replacement discs and pads are available at most mod shops, just go in and ask the guys what fitments suit the fiesta best.
The wheels and tryes are important to get right. If you're planning on fitting anything bigger than the wheels already on the car, then it's ideal to check what's ideal. It's mainly down to an opinion of taste, but sometimes simple things like size and widths of the rims can play a more important role.
Of course, if the width is wider, it means more contact area, which equals more grip. But if you go for wider alloys, you may have to get some wheel spacers to ensure they don't foul the arches. Speaking of arches, if you're planning on puting around 17's or more on the car, be prepared to roll and possibly widen the arches, again so there's no arch rub going on.
Of course you more than likely knew all that, but I thought I'd write down as much as I know about the littler, yet more important things, such as the alignment kits. You'd be surprised how many people don't think about it, then go through tyres at the rate of knots.
Plus I was a bit bored.

We were going to do that, but the black fins on the standard center piece and the actual body section are all one piece of plastic, so it would require cutting with dremel. You can buy a center piece with mesh in but thats œ50, then you've got to buy paint and laquer.
