Diesels seen to have a lower insurance group than their petrol counterparts

eg. my 1.9TDi Ibiza FR (130 BHP, 310NM Torque) Group 8 insurance

The petrol Ibiza 1.8 20V T FR (150 BHP, 220 NM Torque) is Group 12!
