The last time i was down ferry meadows i saw about 8 MTB'ers all in proper kit riding about so there are other people out there in the boro

I'm off to Fort Bill from Friday next week for a week, but after that feel free (anyone) to grab me for a ride or three.

Hi guys, first off sorry to jamieayres for not coming back to you with reference to showing you the route from Chesterton to Yarwell, i've been working pretty much every day weekend etc since. But i'm now starting to get some bike time in, have started meeting up with mates over at Irchester on a Tuesday night and would love to get something local going once or twice a week. Off to Cannock on sunday then over to Wales last week in August.

Wednesday/thursday are both good for me. I'm leaving 7am Friday morning for scotland, a ride will certianly help me get a good nights sleep!

When you say next Saturday do you mean this coming Saturday or Saturday next week? which technically is the next but one Saturday, but some people do refer to this as next Saturday Anyway sorry but i'll not be able to make either (thank Christ they all shout!!) but i'm still looking forward to meet up at some point.

If you fancy something different and not too far away, we are organising a round of the Magellan Midland Summer Trailquest Series near Holbeach on Sunday September 2nd. It's one way of making mountain biking on the flat interesting !

Just joined the forum, mainly bomb around ferry meadows/thorpe wood on my hardtail.

Is anyone interested in meeting up sometime and maybe showing me some new routes if anyone knows any good ones. free on Friday if that's any use?

hi every what great bank hoilday good weather to go out on your bike to day i went to ferry meddows then on to castor,ailswrth.sutton.by the a47, to yerwell,had a look at the Yarwell Quary then to nassington, elton,alwalton,back to ferry meddows and home now knacked good long ride any one like to join me next weekend :shock:

Sound like a dam good ride, if your planning on saturday afternoon, i can make it as in the morning i have got stuff that i need to do...

I think we need to find out who intrested in starting this club and see if we can meet a ferry and get ourselves organised....
