She's not your average neo-pro though, is she? Her spring campaign was pretty impressive for someone who'd ridden two professional road races before this season (one of which was last year's Strade Bianche where she finished fifth).

It's interesting how Puck's conversion to the road has thus far been much more successful than Fem van Empel's, who most times beats Puck convincingly on the cross field.

Hope Georgi is OK, she looked in a lot of pain. Probably the only way there was going to be any jeopardy in the race, Vollering looked like she was struggling a bit with the back and hip. Hopefully she's OK to carry on and I suspect that, if she is, she'll make up the deficit quite comfortably. Pleased for Niewiadoma and also for Vas who just missed out on an Olympic medal.
