No it’s all good, qualifying time in the qualifying period. She only missed out originally because the team can only take 3 runners and she had the 4th fastest time.
I was just commenting that when they set the wedding date a couple of years ago so that it would be after the Olympics her PB was well short of the qualifying time so it was a fortuitous decision as being selected seemed pretty unlikely (wasn’t even the fastest Welsh woman at that point).
Her husband to be has a PB about 10” quicker than her - his first marathon around 10 years ago was 4.25 which gives hope!

Athletics starting to look like it could be a bit of a disaster for GB. Reekie was a medal hope but fails to make the final. Hopefully Hodgkinson will be better.
