Looked off side in real time that one. Exactly what it is there for.

Game finally got going in the second half, I nearly gave up on it.

The Czech's one shot on target livened it up.
Bit spoiled by the earlier game today.

Meh. How was he supposed to gain an advantage with the tip of his elbow?

They seem to be like the Israel cycling team of a few years ago. Loads of ageing ex-stars way past their best.

Predictions for Scotland later?
I'm going to say they will start well, be industrious, fade and/or fail to adapt to a tactical change in the Second half, and lose by 1 or 2.

When I watched the Swiss play Hungary, I saw two teams that could play football. When I saw Scotland play Germany, I only saw one team that could play football.
Scotland will have to improve hugely if they are to get anything out of the game against Switzerland. I hope they go for it as I'd like to see them progress out of the group.
However, "I'm going to say they will start well, be industrious, fade and/or fail to adapt to a tactical change in the Second half, and lose by 1 or 2" sounds about right unfortunately.
Hope I'm wrong.

Sounds about right. Either that or a turgid 0-0.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

First choice was 2-0. Any team on a good day can manage a 0-0. Reference Greece when they won it.

Can't see them keeping a clean sheet. Can't see them scoring more than one. Best case is an early lead, failing to capitalize and get a second, pegged back second half.

They have a goalkeeper and centre half who play for Norwich so a clean sheet very unlikely.

Just for clarification, my first pick was Switzerland 2, Scotland 0.
A turgid 0-0 is a possibility to make for a miserable nights viewing.

I hope Scotland win but I could see them losing - hard to predict otherwise. Presumably they'll want to get stuck in, get closer, win their duels and all those other cliches so it should be physical at least. Hopefully they don't go too gung ho and just let Denmark pick them off.

I'm going for 3-0 to Switzerland but a higher scoreline would increase the entertainment factor 😇

The Hungarian number 9 would not be out of place as a prop forward on a rugby pitch.
I don’t think Hungary will be playing many balls over the top for him to chase.

Scotland are scurrying. I don't think they can keep up this level of scurrying for 90 minutes.

Some finish that from the stocky little man. It's a good game this, I said the other night that Scotland were far better than the crap performance against Germany suggested.
0 -
Yes but it's playing out according to predictions. It's going to be 2 or 3 - 1. Scotland looks so weak in defence they can't hold out. Surely.
0 -
Agreed, they will likely lose but at least they are actually competitive tonight and have shown a bit of attacking intent. Yes, they are defensively probably one of the weakest teams in the tournament.

RB looks exceedingly dodgy.

I've just reminded myself how crap my football score predictions are, but still think Switzerland will win this.

Fair to say that Shaquiri plays wide.

Decent ref.

Just seen first signs of cramp in a Scotland player. 65 minutes.

Didn't have their deep fried pizza and irn bru at half time.

Irn Bru is isotonic. If you drink enough of it.
