Still pondering the practicalities of having a stoma baggie thing inside? outside? the cycling trews. And should I use the anti-hernia big strapping thing while in the seated riding position for n hours? All a bit complex. Might ponder on for a while...

To be fair, I'm just over 6 weeks post upgrade (op) and have done some light weights, press ups etc with no problem. Just want to see how the shoulder feels after being rattled around a bit on uneven country lanes.

Ta MG, have deliberately chosen a shortish loop that doesn't stray too far from home, just in case. And am riding with a mate. If I'm feeling good at the finish then we can extend/repeat.

Yes I gave up about 10 years ago - I was doing a mix of lower cat BC stuff and some cat AB LVRC. On a good day I could get in a break and get a top 10 - best I ever managed was a third - not having a sprint and being risk averse was my main issue I'd have made a decent domestique if amateur racing had such a thing as I was more of a diesel - though maybe I could have trained smarter.

I've started a trivial cheering up thread, as I couldn't find one. I'm not going to duplicate all the threads from here, but that seems like something that's needed, as they've got an 'annoyed' one.
Just wondering whether i should leave an 'unintentional draft' on here, to see if that annoying bug clogs up the whole forum deletion process...

Good call Brian, since the spineless ***** in admin removed the option to reply to their forum deletion thread, or start a thread in that section asking for the forum to be kept as read-only.
