Beyond the headlines, I can't see what the aim is. Unless I've read everything wrong, generally ISIS, Russia and chunks of the Arab world tend to share the same 'enemies'.

Oh lordy, sometimes I hate myself. Especially when I find myself agreeing with Daniel Hannan. Well, not necessarily on every point, but...
"You have to hand it to the Waspis, they are a hell of a campaign group. Their very name is a marketing triumph. They are not, in any meaningful sense, Women Against State Pension Inequality, since their whole shtick is that pensions for men and women, at least based on their age, should remain unequal.
Aware that our public discourse is more excited by feminist and progressive causes than by strict equality, the Waspis wave suffragette flags and portray themselves as victims. I can’t help wondering whether a group of men in the same situation would have as much support.
Still, there are a few hard truths that need stating. First, and most important, we are responsible for our own finances. The onus is on us to find out what we can expect from the Government and to arrange our affairs accordingly. When the state bails people out for failing to do this, it makes the rest of us less likely to look out for ourselves.
There is an element of moral hazard here. Why should the women who did the right thing and deferred their retirement now be penalised relative to those who did not?
And how can we know that not one of those claiming to have been blindsided by the change is jumping on a bandwagon? Most of the women complaining on the airwaves about being “owed” money seem to have retired early from state employment as teachers, local government workers and the like. They come across as, in general, very aware of their rights. It seems odd that they all missed this one major change.
Incidentally, since 1995, there have been massive increases in the state pension – especially during and immediately after lockdown, when the triple lock ensured that pensioners escaped the fall in income that hit the rest of the country. Those rises were unforeseen, but I don’t hear any Waspis complaining about them.
And what about taxpayers? Were they given 15 years’ notice to prepare for having to pay compensation to a group that, though some of its supporters are deserving, has mainly distinguished itself by effective lobbying?"

Not really - ISIS in it's various guises is pretty happy to kill anyone that isn't ISIS. There's a branch currently in some level of combat against the Taliban.

I think the first paragraph is wrong as I understand it they are not against equal state pension age for men and women, only against the way the change was communicated.
I’m ok with most of the rest though.

If I were being uncharitable, I might suggest that they are following that line as the only way they can get compensation for something they feel was unjust (a sense of unjustness which ignores the discrimination against male retirees who had five years fewer years of pension (and that's ignoring the lower male life expectancy).
Obviously, though, I'm not uncharitable...

Maybe so. I find it all a bit strange, as I haven’t read any back stories that prompt any sympathy from me.
Although as an aside it reminds me of an organisation I worked for many years ago where everybody was on a contract that ended on their 60th birthday. Everybody had DB pensions which kicked in when they were 60. The women must have been able to claim SP straight away where the men would have to wait until 65 supported by the DB only, unless they found another job. Nobody batted an eyelid as the gender pay gap was so big the men had much better pension and the women had little or no financial independence.

Yeah, some say ISIS-K are a major threat to the Taliban rule in Afghanistan (I think they find the Taliban a bit liberal and pro-Western!). Russia also bombed ISIS when they were using the war in Syria to build their Caliphate. Then there’s Chechnya

Are the four people caught by Russia for the theatre shooting likely to be involved with it or just unlucky people? In most previous incidents of terrorism such as this, the shooters haven't come out alive.
