And if there's a small majority they will be held to ransom by the swivel eyed hard left. Or possibly even worse, if there's a hung parliament they will get help to ransom by fringe parties like the SNP and the Lib Dems. There is no good answer here.

Voting Labour won't achieve your wish, I'm pretty sure of that.

Hahahaha yes imagine having to rely on some fringe nutters like the DUP

Just going to be a different set of fringe nutters. Although under Corbyn Labour were the fringe nutters themselves and the hard left element is always there waiting in the wings.

No. Not this time, I think you are correct. But the closer we get to the following elections, the more the polls will act as a control rod, of sorts.
We still need the Tories out asap though.

Your anti-Telegraph stance didn't last long then.

It was yours not mine 😉

Concise and accurate - what's not to like?

Pretty sure you agreed that we could ignore it. Wouldn't want to see you flipflopping now.

Captain flipflop.

We can ignore it if it's posted by someone who clearly thinks that the Telegraph publishes rubbish.

Simpler to just ignore comment sections in all newspapers. Classic bubble reinforcement.

You must be glad you didn't just happen to read them accidentally. Could have caused an existential crisis.

Will the sun continue strongly backing someone who isn't really that impressive?

I can't remember what the Sunexpressmail did with regards Blair once it became apparent that he'd be in charge. They still want their influence: it's been easy with Tories as their values have aligned reasonably well (not least as the Tories seemed to have danced to the papers' tune), but I suspect if their principles don't align with those of Starmer, but he's going to wield power for some time that they'll discover some other principles.

Yep, still not one positive thing from Stevo to persuade anyone to vote Tory.
0 -
To be fair, it's about as likely as anyone persuading him not to.

I believe it was the sun wot won it for Blair
(Or at least that's what the sun would like you to think.)

Thus is about that number that looked like nonsense. Turns out it was extrapolated out from responses that the authors of the report say were never intended to be representative and definitely shouldn't have been used to model the whole population. It wasnt a survey. Shocked.

It's also personal with Starmer after the prosecution of Rebekah Brooks

Hahaha

Maybe so, but they'll still be courting him sooner or later, I suspect... they don't like being on the outside.

Obviously he's virtually guilty if he's being investigated.
It's a pity that Advertising Standards aren't applied to political ads.

Am I the only one who thinks it's fine to appeal to voters of another party? Assuming it says Conservative on the ballot paper, who's getting conned?
0 -
No you’re not the only one. Voters are not owned by any party.
It is funny tho’.

He's getting very close to pretending to be standing for the other parties, so his name gets in their mind. Remember, there are a lot of stupid people who vote who don't really read stuff properly, so deceitful advertising works.
