It looks like they may have cleared the road

Nothing says 'fight climate change' quite like stopping people riding bicycles. Their messaging is so terrible.

Greenpeace showed how it should be done last week.

Let’s protest and stop a sporting event that has managed to shut down the centre of a major city to traffic for several days.

    Yup
    Makes perfect sense.

I did what they should be doing to promote their case: went for a walk.
Every time they go people keep assaulting them to get them out of the road..... ;)
Are you talking about the protesters or cyclists? ;)

Just switched on after being out for a ride.
Can anyone kindly summarise which main players are at the front, and or if any big names missed out or crashed out so far?

Pot Still was full of Dutch & Belgians during the protest.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

It's not really come to much here - I think it looks like there might be some heavy localised showers

Bob, if you're struggling to work out what's happening at the roadside....no one can help...

Edit - what I've done there, accidentally, is give a multilayered meta-analysis of the race too...

There's a selection of maybe 15-20 riders with pretty much all favourites in it with a gap maybe 20"

Rolf Sørensen thinks the route is too technical for Remco - not got the skillz in the corners and has to put more power in to recover

It's mad that the race has been so hard but there's no selection made.

It's just a line out until someone snaps

    It's a Ras stage

I've got a list of the rider numbers and kind of figuring out where the front of the race is... but yeah everyone is just cheering loudly every time the riders go past!
